Aura Hamam Spa — Attraction in Konyaaltı

The Aura Hamam Spa is located in the Devran Hotel & Spa.

We were greeted by a smile and placed all of our valuables in a locker. The key was on a bracelet, which I wore at all times.

They requested whether we wanted a man or a woman for the hamam. My wife preferred to be with a woman and the obliged.

We started with a great sauna. It was private and clean. We had cold water to drink during the sauna. Again, the man asked my wife if she would prefer to do the hamam together with me and my male attendee or do it in private. This was very respectful.

The washing and scrubbing/foam was great. Clean, on a mattress and not a hard marble slab and even had a pillow. Super comfy.

I then rested for a few mins and had a 1 hour oil masage. It was strong at times but I could feel it was doing good. I feel great after the massage.

I then showered and had a tea.

The staff even found my wife's necklace on the massage table and returned it to me. The staff are honest and friendly.

The best thing was the price. 40 USD per person. I was quoted in TL but did not have any. They even returned my change in TL and gave the proper converted amount.

We were promised vip room it hasn’t happened they were too busy and put other people in it for massages so we were in a “relax” room with other people (room has 5 beds there was 6-9 customers) oil massage was supposed to be an hour and it was 30 mins tops.

Everything seemed rushed as they had few visitors more then they have expected I think.

Power goes off every few minutes it’s quite weird.

Basically nobody speaks English at all, bit messy.
