VOX Cinemas Yas Mall — Attraction in Abu Dhabi

This is my favorite theater. I have only used Theater by Rhodes, so I can't speak to the quality of the other cinemas.

The main reason I love this place is because of the people. They are so friendly, kind, and they remember you and your preferences. They really are the main reason we keep coming back. They start you with a complimentary drink and snack and explain the menus if you have questions.

The food is rotating every season which has pros and cons (cons just because my favorite lobster tacos have never come back lol). There's always something delicious for everyone. We appreciate that they ensure your courses are spaced out so you're never waiting too long, but you're also not getting them stacked too quickly together. They work hard to accommodate food allergies and will sometimes even make something off menu for you. They really do want everyone to enjoy themselves.

The recliners are comfortable and they've lowered the side tables a bit which is great. The pillows and blankets are back which is nice, and if there is a problem they're always happy to swap them out. The bathrooms are clean, although sometimes a stall or two will be closed.

Overall we love this theater and we'll be sad when we have to...

Never wrote a review before, but was compelled to write the worst phone service (customer service) available! Go ahead and try to book anything for this cinema... you can not because there is no option for Vox Yas Mall, using there phone booking 600 599905... Go to its webpage no times are listed for movies for Vox Yas Mall as of 27 November 2014. Its Thursday and trying to plan our Friday, will have to go somewhere else since there is no way to see movie timings in any media form and no phone number to call.

Follow up next morning listings available, but on line purchase broken... went to mall observed buying by kiosk is working but system isn't right. Several people waited 20 plus minutes to receive tickets from counter line (had to wait in line anyways)...but purchased through kiosk... It took me 25 minutes to purchase tickets only one person in front.... computer problems for person in front of me and also when I purchased. staff not trained up to any standard... refreshments and tickets same line (expect longer waits to purchase tickets) of note facility itself is very nice and the seats and screens very nice... but experience before the movie starts is probably the...

Beautiful world class facilities, and the staff at the snack counter were very professional and helpful. Unfortunately whilst watching Mulan 21/10/2020, the movie suddenly stopped halfway through. All the lights came on the the whole cinema sat in confusion for about 5mins. No staff came in to provide clarity. After which a fellow movie goer had to go and find someone to assist. 10mins later they eventually restarted the movie. Buf it was restarted a whole section past where it had been stopped, so it skipped a lot of scenes which we had not seen. After which we called staff again and asked them to go back where we ended. It was very disappointing that at the highlight of the movie to experience technical difficulties. I thought that at least a manager would come and apologise to the cinema goers and offer some kind of compensation for the inconvenience, but it was not done and when the movie eventually ended we were all just very confused and disappointed that we as paying customers weren't even addressed.

I think it is an exceptional cinema, and will definitely be going back. I hope my feedback can add to their customer service in a positive and...
