Review Catch 22 literally means a paradoxical situation, and the restaurant completely feeds on the idea to create these awe-inspiring dishes that may sound absurd, but they taste like heaven! We are so glad we discovered this place at the very picturesque JBR, of course, beach-facing with all its glory, but the real crowd-pullers are the quirky signboards and meme's that are oh so brilliantly hung and placed all over the restaurant. They are sure worth a chuckle and are completely Snapchat and Instagram worthy. We were there during the evening so we got a gist of the place in daylight as well as dim light with the music going up as it got darker. The place has a very young vibe whilst being able to serve food that would please any old soul. We had a splendid time there in terms of the hospitality, the ambiance, and the glorious food. Each dish had a character of its own and stood out to be remembered for a very long time indeed. We had our favorites, sure, but when we put them down on a list it was almost the whole menu. So read along and experience with your eyes till you waltz your way there unable to wait any longer!

Verdict Catch 22 is a magical place, where the food is just as amazing as the ambiance and the hospitality and service will ensure you do not want to leave. Every dish is a masterpiece and there is for sure something for everyone! We had a vegetarian friend with us who was a bit apprehensive at first but came out all smiles so happy with all the gluttony that just occurred. It is definitely one of those places where you can a cheat meal is worth and at the same time, you can maintain your diet by gorging on their wonderful sushi and seafood. We recommend Catch 22 as one the most unmissable spots in Dubai and you would too, just head down there and try them out!

If you think dining out is just about good food, then clearly, you haven’t had the pleasure of being served by Hakim at Catch 22. This guy isn’t just a waiter – he’s a service legend with the sales skills of a top closer and the charm of a stand-up comedian.

From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were royalty. Hakim knew exactly what we needed before we even realized it ourselves – as if he had a sixth sense for empty glasses and unspoken cravings. But what truly sets him apart? His selling game is on another level.

Every time he came by, there was that sparkle in his eye: “You have to try this, it’s absolutely fantastic.” And guess what? He was always right. The highlight? When he almost begged us: “Do me a favor and try the dessert. Trust me, it’s incredible.” Spoiler alert: it was incredible.
