I am a returning customer who fell in love with this place about a year ago. I've visited more than four times over the past year, but unfortunately, my last two visits, including this one, have been disappointing.
Firstly, I was lured back with the promise of a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom sea view, that I have yet to receive. On both occasions, when I inquired about it, I was asked to pay extra, which is frustrating. Additionally, the cleanliness and hygiene standards have dropped significantly. During my last visit, I encountered a blocked bathtub and even a cockroach running around my room.
Moreover, the small touches that used to make this place special are no longer there. The staff, who were once friendly and attentive, now seem more focused on extracting as much money as possible from customers rather than providing a warm, hospitable atmosphere. Their attitude has become rude, and they seem to be in need of retraining.
A complimentary upgrade, which is often offered to returning customers as a gesture of appreciation, should not come with additional charges, especially when it was promised. It feels like this place is more interested in making a quick profit rather than building long-term relationships with loyal customers.
Personally, I believe that any business should go out of its way to retain customers who choose to stay multiple times within a year. Loyal customers may not always spend the most, but they are the ones who keep the place running. Offering them a little extra can go a long way in ensuring they keep coming back.
In addition, the weighing scale is not functioning properly. The shower mixer system undergoes significant temperature fluctuations with minimal lever adjustments, posing a potential safety hazard to children. The marble countertop in the toilet is cracked, and the vanity in the single bathroom has noticeable lines running through it. The television remote was not functional, and there was a lack of bath linens, dishwashing liquid, and sponges for both dishwashing and laundry purposes.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Read moreI have always chosen Roda Amwaj Suites as my go-to hotel in Dubai, especially for special occasions such as birthdays. As a returning guest, I’ve shared positive feedback in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was disappointing and far from the service I’ve previously experienced.
I booked a 2BR unit and was upgraded to a 3BR plus maid’s room, which we really appreciated. However, the stay quickly became stressful. 😫 I had invited a few friends and colleagues for a simple birthday dinner just dinner and they will not stay overnight, but reception repeatedly called to inform us that guests were not allowed unless we paid 200AED per person. We compromised by ensuring our guests would leave by 9PM, but then by 7PM reception pressured us to either book another room for 1,000AED or pay a 2,000AED penalty. But we did not agree at first. Then they called us again and ask me to go to reception and told me that we have to pay now 2,000AED bcus of more people coming. When I suggested booking an additional room, I was told it was “too late” and that payment of 2,000AED was mandatory even though it was only 7:40 PM. This felt extremely unfair and left us with no choice. What if we simply didn’t have the money? To make matters worse, the reception staff, particularly Sherouk, was unprofessional rolling her eyes and showing unfriendly behaviour I don’t know why, while the manager (without a name tag) that I’m talking to handled the situation with no courtesy or fairness. Despite everything, no goodwill gesture was extended, not even a late checkout. The entire experience left us feeling robbed and insulted, as if guests are seen only as a source of extra charges.
What was supposed to be a joyful celebration turned into a stressful, miserable night. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. Loyal customers should feel appreciated, not penalized or pressured. I would strongly caution anyone planning a gathering here be ready for unexpected charges and unnecessary stress. What should have been a celebration became a...
Read moreI can not rate this place enough it is amazing . Me my husband and 3 kids checked in end of July 2025. My brother and his family also stayed here. We both booked a 3 bedroom apartment for a week through booking.com. I upgraded mine to sea views for an additional £70 which was well worth it. The views from each of the huge windows were amazing. We saw lovely sunsets too.. It was so dreamy. I had a balcony too with seating so we loved sitting out and enjoying the heat and views. My brother who didn't get sea views still had amazing views of marina as shown but no balcony so I recommend upgrading. I added breakfast which was a bargain for us 5. Plenty of options, drinks included. On the days we were to tired to go down for breakfast the lovely staff brought some breakfast up to our rooms for us to enjoy on our dining table overlooking the views. The whole place was so clean and smelt lovely all the time. We had cleaners come daily to clean the whole apartment and replace all the towels etc. Lovely friendly staff everywhere. We had a choice of 3 pools but mainly used the one which had shade, perfect for us as July is very hot. But the pool was nice and cool. There is a shop next to the pool selling everything you need.. Like a UK Co op store but cheaper!! Feel free to come here with nothing and shop for snacks etc here. The location is just perfect. Directly outside the hotel there are so many shops, pharmacy, restaurants, dessert places, stalls, rides and games for kids..and of course the beach. Literally everything right outside including access to metro Station. Deco might not be the most modern but I liked it it was perfectly fine and literally who cares with everything else being literally perfect. Room came with microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine with dryer, clothes airer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, hairdryer, slippers, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, soap, the Quran, prayer mats and just everything you'll need. Book here you won't regret it. I'm staying here...
