• Street Food :
~ GUAC Pani puri : One of the best pani puri ever had with avocado salsa and spicy chilli tamarind dressing. Vanished in no time.
~ Pappdi chaat: Crispy fried dough wafers topped with spicy mashed potato dressed on top with chaat. Perfect balance of all tastes in one bite.
• Starters :
~ Kebab and Tikka Platter : Chef’s selection of four different non-veg kebabs and tikkas served on a platter with variety of dipping sauce. We had Hariyali fish tikka , Malai prawns, Harissa chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab. All were finger licking good with unique tastes.
~ Soft shell crab : One of the best seafood platter I had till date. This spicy tempura fried crab with tempered tamarind sauce was melting in mouth.
• Mains :
~ Chargrilled whole fish : Sea bass generously marinated in creamy , rich malai marinade and grilled to perfection. It was very soft and juicy.
~ Mussels : This shellfish dish was awesome with mussels cooked in basil curry leaves sauce. If you are a shellfish lover this is a must try dish.
~ Beef chilli roast : Kerala style pan roasted beef served with malabar Paratha. This was amazingly a good combination. ~ Dal Makhani : This was rich in taste and was going well with garlic and cheese naans.
~ Biriyani bowl: We tried their Chicken 65 Biriyani which was very aromatic with long grain basmati rice and mild spices.
• Desserts :
~ Bournvita chocolate hot cake topped with butter scotch ice cream and salted caramel was delicious.
~ Cooconut Rasmalai: Trust me this was just melting in mouth with so soft and creamy texture.
Ended our meal with a hot cup of tea. Ambience is extremely good with old rustic interiors with detailing in each and every corner of the restaurant with comfortable seating arrangement. They have outdoor seating as well with a beautiful view of Ain Dubai and beachfront. A must visit restaurant to have delicious food served by friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Read moreBombay Bungalow is Indian name with a fusion concept. You will experience positive vibes as soon as you enter. The rustic blue interiors give a very elegant yet royal look and you simply can’t resist taking a picture. They ample indoor & outdoor seating area to accommodate large crowds. Mr.Jijeesh & the entire staff were very courteous & welcoming. I have rarely seen a chef coming over to the table and explaining each dish but Chef Neeraj was explaining each dish very patiently.
For drinks , we had Potion of the Maharaja’s . This was a watermelon based drink with basil extracts & touch of ginger. Beautiful presentation & very refreshing.
While we waited for the starters, fried papads were served along with mint chutney ,raw mango chutney & achar.
For starters , we had the Guac Pani Puri & Corn and sprouted moong chaat. I had the desire to try the Guac Pani Puri to know if it was simply hyped or was really worth calling “ must have “ dish. All my doubts were cleared and I too award it as a must have dish here. The guacamole and pomegranate seeds were balancing the spiciness of the mint water and taking it to the next level. Moong chaat on the other hand was another fusion starter which you should give it a try. The corns are cooked in tandoor & then mixed with Moong sprouts to amplify the flavours. The most healthiest chaat I have come across.
For mains we had Cashewnuts Veg Kofta , Corriander Naan & Veg Dum Biryani along with raita. I was expecting the Koftas to be the traditional soft & mushy dumplings stuffed with dry fruits . But this was total surprise. The Koftas were crunchy from outside ,stuffed with various veggeis and super soft from within. The gravy too was rich & creamy and very well complimented the Koftas. The Biryani had a rich lucknowee touch and each grain was separate yet not dry.
For desserts, Coconut Ras Malai & Mango Kulfi was served. Both were unique in presentation as well as taste. The Ras malai is served in the form of a ball which has the base of coconut and cold milk is poured all over. An amazing fusion dessert to try. Mango kulfi was shaped as a waffle and each check was filled various toppings. I seriously didn’t feel like spoiling the presentation but was tempted to try too.
