When we arrived, I thought I was going to rate this a 4 or 5, as it's impressive at a first glace. However, as the days passed, more and more issues made the rating drop and drop. The good: - Very spacious apartments - Great location - Generally kind staff - Lots of value for half board. There is A LOT of bad, unfortunately. Let's start with the apartment: - Toilet paper holders, toilet brushes and more weren't installed in several bathrooms. - Hot water didn't work in one of the showers. - There was water damage around one of the ceiling lamps. - Chain for the front door wasn't fastened securely and fell off. - Several lamps aren't properly fastened. - The lowest point in the shower isn't the drain, meaning you have to sweep water into the drain after showering. - Our apartment is for 4 adults and 2 children. There are precisely 4 plates and 4 sets of cutlery - for 6 people using plates and cutlery. - There two Al Qibla indicators in the ceiling, pointing in different directions. So many instances of things not having been thought about, behaving weirdly, or illogical rules: - Elevators will randomly decide that you're now going in the opposite direction. Enter on G, press button for 10 -> stop at 7 to pick up passenger -> go DOWN to 2, drop of passenger from 7 -> go up to 10. - Everything on our trip was registered in my wife's name - except our reservation here, which was in my baby son's name. I double checked, and that's not an error on our end. - Keycards to the apartment will randomly stop working. We had 4 keys and had them all reset/reprogrammed several times. - Restaurant has some dreadful cover song lounge music playing (with adds sprinkled in, so it's free YouTube Music or something). That in itself is bad, but during dinner, the bar, which connected by a doorway that can't be closed, blasts pop/rock, leading to a cacophony. - Several instances of staff either forgetting, or straight up not following up on requests. Dining table had 4 chairs (again for 6 people) and our requests for extra chairs was met with "Yes sir, right away" - followed by inaction. We ended up giving up and using desk chairs. - There are barely any staff available during dinner. It almost feels like they don't want people to dine there. - There is a doorman preventing entry for non-residents, except there is a passage you enter from through the mall that is unguarded. We ordered delivery one night and the doorman wouldn't allow him in - but he could have just entered through the mall. - There is no place you can order drinks or refreshments from the pool floor. - Feedback seems to be unwanted. There are restrooms on the same floor as the restaurant, but they are locked so you must always ask for a key. I asked why it wasn't open all the time and was informed that "outsiders would make a mess of it" (except you also have a doorman preventing non-residents coming in...). I said I thought the nuisance of having to find someone to ask for a key outweighs them having clean slightly more often. The response was for the staff member to simply walk away from me. - Related to the problems with staff, many of them speak English so poorly that it's practically impossible to communicate with them. I left out many other smaller details and have undoubtedly missed and forgotten something. But these constant nuisances and issues keep detracting from the experience, untill you land were I have landed. Another note is that it's very windy in that particular area, and the pool only gets sunshine from 13-15, meaning most the time, it's too cold to be by the pool. The experience wasn't horrible and I have considered giving it 3 stars. However, taking into consideration what we paid and what I would expect of a place like this, I'm dragging it down to 2. I also considered 1, but that would be too harsh.

⚠⚠Travelers please help to protect employees ⚠⚠! I feel compelled to warn you about my alarming experience with this hotel. Not only did they exploit my time and energy, but they also failed to provide an employment agreement despite numerous requests. Instead, they relied solely on email communication and a vague offer letter. To make matters worse, they promised to process my visa before its expiration, only to use me and my visa until it expired, leaving me to foot the bill for overstaying and renewing it myself. Shockingly, just two days after my visa expired, they terminated my employment without any prior notice. As a reservation agent, they took advantage of my visit visa period and then cited downsizing as the reason for termination once it expired. It's clear this hotel lacks proper planning and guarantees for their employees. Sadly, I discovered I had no recourse as there was no agreement or contract to protect my rights or cover visa expenses. Save yourself the headache and avoid this establishment at all costs. Their treatment of employees is disgraceful, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. ------------------------------------------------------- I am editing and adding these details to my review after six months. The management replied to my review, stating they would discuss it with the management. The funny thing is, they might still be discussing it even after six months. This is how they solve employee issues. I humbly request all respectful European, Asian, and worldwide travelers not to spend their money on this kind of cruel, inhumane, and unreasonable business. This is a company that drains employees' energy and life.

If you have a family or are coming to Dubai with family I would defo recommend this place. What you want it has it and if it's not here then it's a short walk away. Right in the middle of the marina but high enough that you don't get disturbed you can catch up with sleep and still wake up and get things done. The pool is great and my 2yo son loved it. The food is great (breakfast) I would not recommend dinner with a very limited menu. They do have a sister hotel called Ocean view which is much bettet for dinner and have themed nights. Decent gym with free weights, a bench and Smith machine. Cleaning is on point and they have a great kitchen which was good for us as we can choose if we wanted to go downstairs and eat. We were on the 49th floor so we go an amazing view. Bathrooms were good and had what we needed and the staff are super friendly especially those with kids. The breakfast manager, Sashi is amazing and needs a statue outside of the building. Thank you for everything you've done in making this a great trip. JBR beach is 7 mins walk as well.

HOTEL FROM HELL!!!! AVOID!!!!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. They claim to be 5 star but this is worse than 3 star.

The staff have an attitude and are not willing to resolve customer concerns.

Upon arrival the room was filthy, bedsheets as bed runner had stains and there was hair and crumbs on the bed after lifting the duvet. Not clean at all, as if someone had previously slept in it. There was hair compiled near the rugs and dust everywhere, they CANNOT claim to be a 5 star hotel and have such disgusting quality of cleaning. This is nowhere near the standard of a 5 star hotel. The rug in the living room was also filthy, has so many stains and crumbs all over it, as if it’s never been washed. I asked them to take it and wash it and it still hasn’t been done. They will say one thing and not carry it out. Such sloppy customer service.

Then we had another issue at half 12 midnight, there was a room down the corridor blasting loud music, with people partying and running up and down the corridor screaming and laughing. There are family’s staying in this hotel, this type of anti social behaviour and noise levels are inappropriate. It’s not a beach club it’s a hotel. The hotel shouldn’t allow for people to be able to do this here. When children are trying to sleep. I informed the security who then made them turn it down but they still had it quite loud so they made them turn it down further, however yesterday night they were playing it again loud at night. These people obviously have no regard of where they are staying so the hotel shouldn’t be allowing people causing this type of disruption to stay in the hotel.

I went the next day to inform the manager of all these issues, when speaking about the noise issue he was not understanding and was trying to defend the other people by saying “what people do in their personal life is not our business” it clearly should be your business when their noise is disrupting other guest, especially in the middle of the night. His demeanour and attitude was condescending, saying he’d sort everything out and nothing is done.

Because of this loud music, me and my sister were unable to sleep. Once something wakes me up I struggle to fall asleep again. So we didn’t wake up for breakfast on time. So my mum wanted to take some cold food such as muffins and fruit back for us in the room. The other days they allowed for her to take it but today they didn’t. Saying its policy, they can’t follow through with other hotel policies like sorting out the noise issue that disturbed my sleep but can police people who want to take some muffins to the room. They all made such a big deal out of it, multiple people from their staff coming upto my mum and saying she’s not allowed, embarrassing my mum. Then the manager comes with his condescending tone and no regard of his volume, speaking loudly infront of other guests saying my mum can’t take food to the room as if she is stealing food that she has paid for and he’s telling her off. It’s absolutely disgusting behaviour and embarrassing for my mum. So UNPROFESSIONAL and shameful behaviour.

The quality of the food is also disgusting, watery and runny with no flavour. Not 5 star at all.

This hotel needs to be investigated by DTCM, they cannot operate like this. Making guests feel uncomfortable. They also let another lady take the food up but not my mum. Don’t want to play the race card but my mum was speaking English and the other woman was speaking Arabic so they may be favouring her, which is racist. We are all guest here, we all deserve the same treatment, we’re all paying to stay in this dump.

We wanted to leave immediately but the hotel said they can’t refund our money as we booked through an agency and they said it’s non refundable. So now we are stuck in this hell hotel.

I will never be staying here again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this...

Bitterly disappointing on this occasion, won’t be going back there again and would discourage others from staying there.

We had previously stayed at this property few years back when it was known as the JA Oasis Beech Tower, and had an excellent guest experience! For this reason we cancelled our booking at the Hilton JBR Walk Residence to come back and stay here again this year. Since our previous stay, this place was taken over by new management and organisation and rebranded as Blue Beech Tower.

Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed this time. The apartments generally have serious maintenance and quality issues which should really be checked and sorted before handing over to fee paying guests. Much of the electrics and plumbing had issues from the evening we checked in. The bathroom kept flooding with dirty water but the cause could not be determined. After the cleaners did cleaning we went out for dinner returning after one hour to find the water back all over the bathroom floor again. There were so many things wrong and not working that by 11pm the management decided to move us to a different but equivalent apartment. We went to the new apartment only to find that that also had similar problems. By 1am we were advised to go back to the old apartment and move in the morning whilst the technicians worked on the electrics. These works continued until midday the following day as the issues were found to be more fundamental than originally thought. By the time we had moved into the new apartment and unpacked it was late afternoon. We had to cancel our day 1 plans for our holiday of 8 days - we basically lost one full day of our holiday and were even more exhausted than when we arrived! The management refused to compensate us for the loss and inconvenience - we having paid a nights stay plus loss of a days holiday. We were instead assured that “next time they will ensure that we have a better stay and would consider giving us better rates “. When escalated to one of the General Managers, he advised that at most he could give us a complimentary nights stay if we extend our stay by one day. However this would have meant us having to pay the airline penalties for changing six adult tickets - a cost that Blue Beach Tower were not prepared to compensate us for either. So in the end we had no choice but to stay there for the remaining holiday or lose our money. Absolute rubbish and totally...
