Eataly in Dubai has undoubtedly mastered the art of delivering authentic Italian flavors, and their Italian croissants are nothing short of extraordinary. As a devoted lover of pastries and all things Italian, my recent visit to Eataly left me in awe of their exquisite croissants.Flavor Explosion: The moment I took my first bite, I was transported to the heart of Italy. The croissant was impeccably flaky, with a subtle buttery aroma that enticed the senses. What truly sets Eataly apart is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients, and this was evident in every mouthful. The Nutella-filled croissant was a delightful blend of creamy hazelnut goodness and delicate pastry layers. Each bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and richness.Texture and Freshness: Eataly takes their croissants seriously. The exterior had a beautiful golden-brown hue, and the layers were impeccably crisp. The interior was soft, airy, and oh-so-fluffy. It was evident that these croissants were freshly baked, and the quality truly shone through.Presentation: The croissant was presented with an artistic touch – a dusting of powdered sugar and a drizzle of Nutella on top. The visual appeal only added to the anticipation of tasting this heavenly creation.Service: The staff at Eataly were not only attentive but also well-versed in their offerings. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure our dining experience was exceptional.Ambiance: Eataly's restaurant provided a warm and inviting atmosphere. Read moreEataly at Dubai Festival City is one of those restaurants that combines an authentic Italian dining experience with a lively atmosphere and a stunning location. Situated on the first floor of Festival Square inside the mall, it offers both indoor seating and a beautiful terrace overlooking the waterfront — a perfect spot for evenings and cooler months. The ambience is stylish yet relaxed, with décor inspired by Italian market-style dining, giving it a warm and welcoming vibe whether you’re with family, friends, or on a casual outing.
The menu is extensive, covering all the Italian favorites from freshly baked pizzas and handmade pastas to creamy risottos, salads, and a tempting range of desserts. The Margherita pizza and risotto are crowd favorites, while the arancini is a must-try. Their dessert section is also a highlight — the tiramisu is indulgent and perfectly balanced. For vegetarians, there are some good options too, though a few dishes could be refined further. Portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are consistently rich and satisfying.
Service is generally excellent, with friendly staff who are happy to make recommendations and explain the menu. During busy hours, it can take a bit longer for food to arrive, but the team usually makes up for it with their attentiveness and professionalism. The atmosphere on weekends can be buzzing, but it never feels overwhelming, especially if you choose the terrace seating.
Prices are fair considering the quality, location, and overall experience. While some dishes may feel a little on the higher side, the combination of great food, pleasant ambience, and waterfront views makes it well worth it.
Overall, Eataly Festival City delivers on its promise of authentic Italian cuisine with a modern touch. It’s a place that feels just as right for a casual family meal as it does for a special night out. Highly recommended if you’re looking to enjoy fresh Italian flavors in Dubai with a...
Read moreAs a family we like this place, we like the concept and the food. We believe this is one of rare restaurants that you can enjoy a high quality non-commercial food. Our order was 5 main dishes. lasagne: creamy, big portion, fresh and delicious . Satisfied ++++. Spaghetti with pesto sauce was also great, big portion, fresh and delicious. Satisfied ++++ Spaghetti with red sauce and seafood was spicy a little but good in taste and no much seafood to be mentioned, satisfaction +++. The other two dishes were cotta ala melanaize , my other two kids came to the restaurant for it , they tried it before in Dubai mall branch and festival city and it was more than great. At the beginning, the waitress ( helpful and friendly) told us it wasn’t available. After few moments the waitress came back and told it is available but needs some time. We said we can wait. Two plates came on time lovely generous presentation hot fresh crispy with fried potatoes side dish even better than the previous one we had before. My son’s dish was great and as expected. However May be it was not my daughter’s day or not the chef’s day. She found a small bug crawling in her dish!! We called for the waitress and asked for immediate change of the dish. The action was rapidly taken , another dish was made but blood was still in the meat. This ruined our appetite and made us ask for the bill. We received the bill, but what really surprised me is that I didn’t receive any apology and as if nothing happened! We love this place but we didn’t love what happened to us in this day. Overall we like this place as a family and we will come...
