⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To be completely honest, this is the number one Lebanese restaurant in the UAE – and I say that after trying many. From the very first bite to the last sip of tea, everything here speaks of quality, authenticity, and passion for food.
🔹 Service & Atmosphere: The service here is on another level. The staff are not only attentive but genuinely warm, creating an experience that feels personal and welcoming. A special thanks to Omar and Ibrahim who went out of their way to ensure the evening was perfect – professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about every dish. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, making it great for both casual dinners and special occasions.
🔹 Food Experience (let’s break it down): • 🥇 Muttabal: The highlight of the meal and honestly the best in the UAE. Creamy, smoky, and perfectly seasoned – it sets the standard. • 🥗 Tabbouleh: Exceptionally fresh, vibrant, and balanced with just the right kick of lemon. • 🥩 Meat Chops: Cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and packed with flavor that lingers. • 🍗 Chicken Liver: Rich, flavorful, and prepared just right – a dish that many get wrong, but here it’s a star. • 🍰 Desserts: Lebanese sweets can often be heavy, but here they’re elevated. The Pistachio dessert is a masterpiece – nutty, creamy, and indulgent – while the Date Pudding Muffin is an absolute must-try. It’s unique, comforting, and a sweet ending to the meal.
🔹 Room for Improvement: If I had to mention one thing, it would be the Mohammara. It’s good, but compared to how perfect everything else was, it could use a bit more depth and richness. Still enjoyable, but not on the same “wow” level as the other dishes.
✨ Final Thoughts: This restaurant is more than just a place to eat – it’s an experience. From the unbeatable service to the unforgettable flavors, it delivers authenticity with excellence. Whether you’re Lebanese missing home, a foodie exploring the UAE dining scene, or simply someone who appreciates good food, this is a restaurant that will impress you every time.
It’s safe to say – once you try it, you’ll keep coming back. A true gem in the UAE’s...
Read moreI was one of the very first customers to walk into the Al Safadi Festival City branch, and right from the start, the experience was disappointing. I ordered two sunny side up eggs, well done, and what they brought out was raw. On top of that, unlike other branches, they didn’t even bother to put bread on the table, which is supposed to be standard.
The service was a complete mess. The staff kept leaving the restaurant and coming back in, with nobody paying attention to the customers or checking if we needed anything. What made it worse was seeing other tables, who arrived after me, get their bread and their food while I sat waiting. I ended up waiting more than 25 minutes for two eggs, and at the end, I didn’t even bother waiting for them to fix their mistake — I left empty-handed.
When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told there wasn’t one. Honestly, how can a restaurant not have a manager? That’s ridiculous. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff tried to confront me about their own mistakes. At that point, I just paid and left. This will be the last time I ever step foot in this branch.
The service, food, and management here are nowhere near the level of Al Hallab, which offers much better customer care and consistency. What’s worse is that this isn’t just a one-time issue—bad service has happened at other branches too, like Al Safadi Rigga.
To whoever owns or runs this restaurant: please take responsibility. Hire proper staff, train them correctly, and most importantly, put a competent manager in place. Right now, this branch is a reflection of terrible management and poor...
