Title: An Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Rivas: A Hidden Gem in Dubai

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review:

If you're searching for an extraordinary dining experience in Dubai, look no further than Rivas, the Persian restaurant that will transport your taste buds to a world of exquisite flavors and warm hospitality. From the moment you step foot into this hidden gem, you'll be captivated by the enchanting ambiance and the genuine passion of the owner, Masood.

Rivas offers a truly immersive culinary journey, where every dish tells a story and every bite is a revelation. The menu is a delightful blend of traditional Persian cuisine with a modern twist, showcasing the rich tapestry of flavors and spices that make Persian food so unique. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or a curious food enthusiast, Rivas will undoubtedly leave you craving for more.

One of the highlights of our dining experience at Rivas was the impeccable service. Masood, the owner, is not only a masterful chef but also an incredibly gracious host. His warm and friendly demeanor instantly makes you feel like a welcomed guest in his own home. Masood's passion for Persian cuisine shines through in every aspect of the dining experience, from the carefully curated menu to the thoughtful presentation of each dish.

The culinary journey at Rivas is an explosion of flavors and textures that will tantalize your taste buds. The menu boasts a wide range of dishes, from aromatic kebabs to fragrant stews and delicate rice dishes. Each dish is meticulously prepared using the freshest ingredients, and the attention to detail is evident in every bite. The flavors are balanced, the spices are perfectly harmonized, and the portion sizes are generous.

One standout dish that we absolutely loved was the saffron-infused chicken kebab. The tender, juicy chicken, marinated in a blend of spices and saffron, was a true delight. The accompanying saffron rice, with its delicate aroma and fluffy texture, was the perfect complement. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left us craving for more.

The ambiance at Rivas is cozy and inviting, with an elegant touch of Persian decor. The restaurant's intimate setting makes it perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

In conclusion, Rivas is a hidden gem in Dubai that deserves every bit of praise it receives. From the moment you step foot into this Persian restaurant, you'll be transported to a world of culinary delights. The passion and creativity of Masood, the owner, shines through in every aspect of the dining experience, making Rivas a must-visit for any food lover. Whether you're a fan of Persian cuisine or simply looking for a unique dining experience, Rivas will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Rivas, a Persian restaurant located in Dubai. To put it simply, it was a disappointing and regrettable visit. From the unimpressive food quality to the lack of hospitality displayed by the owner, Mr. Masoud, there was nothing about this establishment that stood out positively.

Let's start with the owner, Mr. Masoud. His demeanor and attitude left much to be desired. He came across as impolite and lacking any semblance of personality. Instead of greeting customers with warmth and a welcoming smile, he seemed disinterested and unengaged. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for him.

Moving on to the food, it was an absolute letdown. As a frequent patron of Persian restaurants in Dubai, I have come to appreciate the rich flavors and exquisite culinary delights they offer. Unfortunately, Rivas failed to live up to even the most basic expectations. The dishes lacked authenticity and were incredibly underwhelming in taste. The ingredients seemed mediocre and lacked the freshness and vibrant flavors that one would expect from a Persian restaurant.

Moreover, when comparing Rivas to other Persian restaurants in Dubai, it falls significantly short. The lack of attention to detail and care in the preparation of the food was evident. It is disheartening to see a restaurant in a city known for its diverse and exceptional culinary scene fail to deliver on such a fundamental level.

Overall, my experience at Rivas was disheartening. The owner's unpolite demeanor and lack of personality left a sour taste in my mouth, which was only exacerbated by the subpar food quality. I would strongly advise anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Persian dining experience to look elsewhere. There are far better options available in Dubai that showcase the true essence of Persian cuisine and provide a more pleasant dining experience overall.

So here my rating from 0 to 10 for the foods that we tried:

Kabab koobideh: 3/10 Kabab barg: 3/10 very dry Joojeh kabab: 1/10 (frozen chicken grade) Kabab masti:...

We went there as a family to have iftar. We arrived an hour before iftar time to check the restaurant and their menu as we were roaming in the mall. The waiter informed us that they have buffet for iftar and it's AED 90 per person and that's all he mentioned. When i asked him what do they serve as main dishes in their buffet, he mentioned that for the main dish we have to choose from the menu, ie a la carte. Even he didnt mention that's gonna be an extra charge. We chose to sit and check their menu since we still have time. After surfing the menu and time got closer to iftar, we decided to choose our iftar from a la carte as we didnt like the appetizers in their buffet and it wasnt worth the AED 90 The appetizers and sweets. Surprisingly before 20 minutes to iftar when we wanted to order, the waiter tells us you can not order a la carte you have to order the buffet plus a la carte. This was the first time i dine in a restaurant where they force their clients to order from the a la carte menu and the buffet. All restaurants from1 star to 5 stars have either option, and if you wanna be the odd one at least communicate it clearly to your clients beforehand. The funny part is that they wanted to charge me for my 2 kids as 2 adults, even this wasn't communicated beforehand. I address my review to the owner/manager, after reading other reviews, apparently you have good food, but you will lose many clients if you don't strive to keep a good...

My friend brought us to Rivas Restaurant in Jumeirah, Dubai, and unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience. Here are the three downsides from my perspective: 1. Welcome Experience: The attitude at the welcome desk was off. We didn’t receive a warm greeting, and it made us feel uncomfortable. A simple smile would’ve made a huge difference. 2. Service: The service was disappointing. We asked for lemon, and they completely forgot about it. It felt like we weren’t prioritized. 3. Food: The Joje Kebab we ordered was just average. As an Iranian, I’ve tried many Iranian restaurants, and unfortunately, this kebab didn’t stand out. The bread underneath the kebab wasn’t very fresh, although the bread with the nono panir was much better. I requested fresh bread, but it didn’t really improve the experience. The staff seemed tired and disengaged, and even when we asked for the bill, one of them mentioned it to another without directly interacting with us. When we paid, there was no inquiry about the receipt or anything else. I’m sorry to say this, but I definitely won’t be coming back, even for Persian tea. I believe the management needs to make some changes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rivas, a Persian restaurant located in The Mall opposite Burj Al Arab. I had heard a lot about this restaurant, and my expectations were high. I was not disappointed! The restaurant has a beautiful setting, with plenty of natural light and plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but I did feel ignored at times. They didn't seem to have a good visibility of the tables and customers, and I often had to walk to them if I needed something. The appetizers were great, and the garlic yogurt (mast masier) was the highlight of the meal. It was really creamy and tangy, and it made an amazing dip for the complementary freshly baked bread. The koobideh was among the best I had in Dubai, and the lamb neck with tahgine rice cake was also amazing. The meat fell cleanly from the bones. The doogh laban was below expectations, but the tea was a perfect ending to the meal. The prices were on the higher side, but I thought the food was worth it. Overall, I had a great experience at Rivas, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had lunch in Rivas, and we had a pleasurable experience. The interior is great, with a very spacious area, some TV’s, a buffet area, a barista’s area and a great view on the Burj Al Arab The service was okay, the employees were helpful and knew the menu, however they would not do some things spontaneously, like bring glasses of water for all of us, unlike how they only brought 2, for the amount of people that ordered water. They also forgot to bring them later when we asked again. The food was fantastic, everything from the assorted herbs to the olives with pomegranate to the kebabs was delicious, due to this, I think this may be one of the best kebabs I had in town. I really recommend Platter 3, which has 6 kebab skewers and rice with it. And for all of this, the food is pretty affordable, as we paid 340AED for 6 people, definitely worth it. I am not sure whether this place offers entertainer. Altogether, if not the slightly unresponsive service, this place would be 5/5
