A Fantastic Experience at Uma Bar and inside Bruj Al Arab Tour
I recently had the pleasure of visiting UMA Bar and Tour, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the ambiance to the service, everything was top-notch. I would like to highlight three aspects of my experience: the bar, the tour, and the bar manager.
Firstly, the bar at IBAA is a true gem. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was stylish yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The seating options were plentiful, allowing guests to choose between intimate corners or mingling at the lively bar. The attention to detail in the bar's design was evident, and it added to the overall experience.
The drink menu at UMA BAR was extensive, featuring a wide selection of both classic and innovative cocktails. The bartenders were not only skilled but also passionate about their craft. They took the time to recommend drinks based on my preferences and made sure each cocktail was expertly crafted. Every sip was a delight, and the presentation of the drinks was truly impressive. The bar staff's knowledge and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
Lastly, I must commend the bar manager (NILESH) at UMA BAR for their outstanding leadership and dedication. Throughout my visit, the manager was actively engaged with both staff and guests, ensuring that everyone's needs were met. They exhibited exceptional professionalism, making sure that the bar operated smoothly and efficiently. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for guests was truly commendable.
Overall, my experience at UMA Bar and Tour was nothing short of outstanding. The bar itself was a haven for cocktail enthusiasts, the tour was informative and entertaining, and the bar manager's leadership elevated the entire experience. I highly recommend UMA BAR to anyone looking for a memorable evening of great drinks, knowledgeable staff, and a warm atmosphere. I will definitely be returning on my next visit...

Read moreInitial experience on arrival was very positive in the ticketing lounge and during the buggy transfer to inside al arab. However there were several disappointments that ruined the overall experience. As a tour visitor you enter the hotel from a back door so don't experience the same welcome as staying guests. We purchased 24 carat coffees but instead of being served these in a relaxing area, we were served these on high chairs in a roped off area of the public walk through. My elederly mum was encouraged to spend far more than needed when purchasing photographs - thankfully we stepped in before it was too late and she purchased a reduced package. The hotel was unable to accept cash transactions and we were told we'd need to pay at the ticketing office before we left. We were fine with this - but this was when our experience was truly ruined. When arriving at the retail area and receiving our photo, i again tried to pay but was told to pay at the ticket lounge - no problem, however a second colleague then chased after us down the stairs as we walked back to the buggy, informing the buggy driver we hadn't yet paid and to ensure we were ushered back into the ticketing office when alighting the buggy. We were made to feel like we were stealing the pictures (price was £20! - much less than the price of each coffee). On arrival at the ticketing office the gentleman at the till was completely confused, didn't know how to process payments for the photos and had to make a call elsewhere to understand what he needed to do). At this point we couldn't wait to leave - a complete sham of a morning that utterly ruined the experience of visiting Burj Al Arab. Advice for other guests - pay by card! And think twice before paying 150AED for a gold coffee to be consumed in...
