SALT Marina — Restaurant in Dubai

I am usually optimistic and in a very good mood every time when I visit some new places!

And I never or very rarely get disappointed!

Unfortunately sometime I am disappointed, 1 time in million, but it’s happened like today, when I walked into Salt fast food, Dubai Marina Mall!

First of all, the price, 54 dirhams for a small sandwich, and 13 dirhams of cold drink (fanta) … hmmmm …

So even is Dubai, even is Dubai Marina Mall, the price is too high!

Tastes are not worth discussing, every person different taste, but for me personally. I don't like these sliders!

Not at all!

Secondly, I don't know when that following fashion (mode, behavior) started in Dubai, but I don't like it at all:

Actually , for example when a price for drink is 13 dirhams, the cashier asks from ne the exact amount, I say I don’t have, and I give her 15 dirhams, and she says:

Sir, sorry but I will owe you 2 dirhams!

I might say ok, but an hour ago some thing happened to me. When I wanted to take a boat ride from Dubai Marina Mall to Dubai Promenade, the ride takes 5 minutes and costs 3 dirham!

But the cashier asks me for the exact amount, I say I don’t have and I give to her 5 durhams.

And she said to me:

Sir I will owe you 2 dirhams!

😀😀😀

Now again the same thing in Salt!

Ooo thank you very much!

And of course I’m upset and tell her:

Definitely not! But is it ok that I will owe you 3 dirhams, instead you owe me 2?

And after some moments she “find” 2 dirhams!

Hmmm, imagine that, please, it doesn't have to be from all the customers, but only from 100-200 daily “no change" and multiply dirham or two … hmmm I can calculate basic mathematics!

I do not like that!

Not at all!

In my country, Macedonia, 🇲🇰, this attitude is used a lot, and it's not nice, but here in Dubai, here… especially here it's not nice at all!

So, unfortunately I would bypass SALT, and especially SALT Dubai Marina Mall, that I would bypass in the big...

I wanted to share my excellent feedback & for the amazing lunch I had in (Salt - Dubai Marina Branch-1st floor in the Mall).

I always take lunch with my son in the weekends to enjoy the relaxing day off and it’s always in SALT with the amazing delicious burgers with fresh cookings on the spot.

The Only special thing in SALT that the staff knows my special order through the wonderful restaurant manager(Ms.Devin) & the amazing waiter (Ms.Irene).

Ms.Devin & Ms.Irene are really outstanding SALT MEMBERS STAFF, that you can really enjoy & trust that you will eat delicious food as you exactly ordered without any mistakes or to return the food back to kitchen.

Ms.Devin took my order by herself to make sure that it’s the one I want.

Ms.Devin and Ms.Irene (The waiter) are really professional knowing all the items in the menu to explain to you everything in details. They are taking care of my order with perfect service and selections and perfect portions , thanks a lot Ms.Devin & Ms.Irene for your both amazing smile all the time and your professional hard working.

The staff also are amazing and they are took care of my order very well and treated me in a very elegant way.

Ms.Irene the waiter seved me and my son during my visit to SALT IN dubai Marina mall and checking on our table all the time with very full cleaning process all the time, she is a very polite and respectful lady that deserves honor and appreciation.
