An unexpected treat. firstly this is free which is excellent. Secondly this is a chance to see into the Circus properties and this helps really understand what is going on in this development. You get to see the rear of the Circus properties up close which is fascinating because of the way they are constructed which means only the fronts are uniform, the back of the structure varies wildly. And you get to see a contemporary garden, as in the garden that existed when the property was initially built. It is rather fascinating to see the variety of plants, design and forms of maintenance used. It is also interesting to see how the original garden plan was uncovered. really an excellent insight in Georgian Bath that I don't think you can see in many places. Well worth a visit when it is open.

It’s a nice little garden in the city. Don’t expect a very big area. But it is well kept and the plants there are named. They have some history written on a couple of panels too. Wouldn’t hurt to just visit it on your way!

Nice little find whilst walking around Bath. Free to enter and worth a quick visit if near the Royal Crescent. We went end of Feb so not much in bloom, but we could see that a lot of care and attention had been put in to recreating this Georgian Garden. I bet it looks and smells wonderful when...

A small but neat garden that is free to enter. Takes a few moments to walk around. Nothing massively exciting about it but it is an oasis of peace compared to the Royal Crescent, which is a minute away and absolutely teeming...
