Lovely experience at Chandos Deli! I was looking for a non-chain cafe to have lunch at and when I passed Chandos Deli, I was immediately drawn in. The atmosphere is lovely, with warm furniture, decorations and lighting, and a lovely view of the street outside. The menu is extensive and not too expensive for Bath, and I enjoyed my vegetable mimosa in particular. The staff were also lovely, fast to help and very approachable. But ..... here's the moan.... they serve the sandwiches on a chopping board which looks nice but really not practical to carry with your coffee as it's heavy. Order a tea and cake (as I did ) they put the teapot, milk and cup on a little tray but ..... here's the moan .... no place for the cake again making it difficult to carry ...
