Uncle Sams Montpelier Road Brighton — Restaurant in England

I have been visiting this branch of Uncle Sam's for many years, albeit 4 to 6 times a year and I have always been impressed ❤️. My companions Allstar burger 🍔 was rated as a 7 as they felt it lacked the usual flame grilled taste and lacking flavour in general. My vegetarian bugger patty was nice with fresh salad in the burger but again lacked major flavour. I was also a bit taken back with the size of the milkshake as the cups have shrunk considerably and when I asked about this they said I could have had a large... but this was not pointed out to me at the point of order. The chocolate milkshake was very very syrupy rather than well mixed. Overall a 6/10 this time as I feel their usually excellent standards have slipped. Judge for yourself.... chips...

Usually uncle Sam's is the best... But after visiting the one in town, I'll be staying away. Both myself and my wife got food poisoning after eating burgers from here. Disgusting.

27/12/18 Following response from owner I shall take his advice and contact local council. As a medical professional I know what food poisoning looks like but I like your optimism in believing that in 50 years you have never made anyone poorly. I would rather suggest that in 50 years you have never quite accepted that you have made people poorly. Had heard good things about Uncle Sam’s from fellow burger fans!

Popped by twice in the last couple months - well worth giving it a go! A hidden gem within the hustle and bustle of the seafront - blink and you’ll miss it kinda place

The shop operates out of a tuck-shop style window - serving up fresh beef, chicken and veggie burgers. Great value and meal deals are available too!

It’s takeaway only, though there is a small table to grab if you can!

Service was super quick, both chefs I spoke to were really polite and super friendly.
