The Fishing Museum and the small community around it, I believe is the heartbeat of the seafront.

It's a fantastic place to visit. Explore the history of Brighton fishing. Sit down and people watch. Visit the various seafood and smoothie arches.

It is honestly one of the greatest and undersold gems of Brighton and Hove.

It's a beautiful gaggle of people and you'll always feel welcome in this little and unusual community!

If I could give the museum and associated businesses more than five stars, I...

As always an amazing place. As mentioned in my previous review it is must see when you visit Brighton. This is the 6th time and is the first place I visit when I come to town. It never fails to disappoint and always creates a happy memory. My personal favourite will always be the anchor exhibition but I also love the fishing nets that they have added in 2024, they bring a modern touch and have...

As a local I often get visitors asking me what to do in Brighton and my answer is always the same... "The fishing museum". There is something to learn for everyone and I take away new knowledge each and every time I visit whether it’s for a quick 2 minute browse or an hour-long immersion. I wish the museum good health and hope for it to continue for...

The place is a horror show filled with the deeply arrogant people. Put a turn style on the entrance and charge £1 so you can cut out the extreme levels of rude people that wonder in like flotsam and jetsam on the shore. Other than that, it has some interesting historical tidbits.

Well, "museum" is too big a word for this... It's a small space where some boats and some things related to marine fishing are exhibited. In 10-15 minutes you saw everything. I don't think it's a goal in itself. If you pass by and have time, you can enter for a short time.
