Chiipys — Attraction in Exeter

At first, £6.15 for some chips and sauce seemed nuts. That was until I was served a cone the size of a flower bouquet.

The chips were prepared via an alternation of chips and applying sauce, ensuring the sauce flavours were present throughout, avoiding the plague that befalls many a dirty chip portion (dirty up-top, clean down-below).

After 40minutes of solid eating, there was still a handful-sized amount at the bottom I couldn't finish off.

Only drawback is no indoor seating: there's no way I'd take out a cone of chips, no matter how good and many of them there are, into the rain or an icy winter evening. Just needs a bench or some stools in there.

Tried here tonight, on spur of the moment - as after work I wanted something easy for us all, but tasty. A night off from the healthy cooking!

These chips are so good, they're fantasticly cooked and so tasty. I chose their most popular sauce....Algerienne, after I was offered a taste on a chip. Wow, a fantastic sauce and I decided to have it on all three lots of chips.

If I'd known how big a portion the medium was, I'd have opted for smalls. You get so much and none of us were able to finish (sadly!).
