Ahoy, fellow sea rovers! Gather 'round as I recount me latest docking at the landlocked haven known as Alexandra Gardens Car Park.

Aye, upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this be no ordinary anchoring spot! Instead of puzzlin' over how long I'd be ashore, I simply began me parking session. Aye, just like casting off into the great blue without a set course, I was free to wander and loot—er, I mean shop—as long as me heart desired!

But here's the real gem: When it came time to haul anchor, I just ended me session and paid for the exact time me ship—ahem, carriage—had been docked. No more payin' for uncharted hours! Truly, it's a feature as splendid as a mermaid's song.

But a word of caution to me mateys: Always remember to end yer session! Forget, and ye might find yerself parting with a chest full o' doubloons—around £16, to be precise. It's like forgettin' to lower the Jolly Roger when enterin' friendly waters. So heed this warning, lest ye wish to see your treasure vanish quicker than a rum bottle in a pirate's hand.

Other than that - the parkingspace is of a pretty good size - Parking is 10 walking min from the Castle, so quite near and you don’t have to drive through the city center, which is a mess (traffic jam) Driving out the parking at afternoon is a mess. 4 Car parks are on the same little tiny street. We needed 30 min only to get out Alexandra Gardens Car Park and onto this little street. Another 10-15 min in traffic jam till we reached the Main Street.

!!! Don’t forget to Stop your Parking session !!! This is very unusual that you have to stop your session. Usually you pay for a certain time with the option to extend your session. I can imagine so many forget to Stop their session and pay instead for 2 hours, the whole day which is about 18,90 with...

The machine did not work - card transactions were cancelled. There were three people who tried to pay but it was not possible. The number 03301358951 for Machine faults rang, but nobody picked up. When I called the Council number and asked them what to do, I was told to use different machine or call RingGo (there is no number on the purple sign to call them)! Well, they took the other machine away some time ago so using other machine was not an option! After 15 minutes the other two families gave up and drove away. I managed to scramble £ 7.00 in coins for 2-3 hour parking. Prior to the changes to Advantage card holders when car park was £ 0.50 per hour for the first three hours, I visited Windsor every week. Now it is once per year. I was shocked to see the car park 2/3 empty! I am not surprised. I will not be back as parking in Windsor is getting ridiculous. Speaking to other people I found out that this is not the only car park with faulty machines! My advice is that if you want to park in Windsor bring...
