Recently had my granddaughters 7th birthday party here. Booking was easy and well explained on the booking page. Recieved a phone call once booking and deposit was made and was informed on what happens next and that I would receive a phone call a few days before again to discuss numbers etc. Upon entry each child was asked there choice of hot food and a great selection was offered, chicken nuggets, sausage, pizza there was vegetarian options and also gluten free. Allergies had already been discussed on the phone and even though we had no allergies I wouldn't be worried at all in taking a child with dietary requirements as they were very thorough. The play time was 1hr.30 mins with juice supplied in the party zone at the back! (Only 1 small thing Is I do think the party seating area at back could do with a bit of brightening up and maybe a few banners etc). Food is served downstairs in the party room which has a throne for the bday child to sit at for photos and the cake. All meals were served in party boxes with more juice available. We took our own balloons to decorate the room. You are given a party host which takes care of everything for yout throughout to cutting the cake and putting into party bags. The staff were fantastic from start to finish with a special mention to Kirsty for being so fabulous and informative throughout the booking. Well worth the price and all the children had a fabulous time. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to...
Read moreTLDR; Decent little soft play with good cafe. Could do with better changing facilities.
We visited with our little monster on a Saturday afternoon whilst on holiday. We called in advance (highly recommended) to check for availability, they took our name down to reserve us a place. We arrived right on time for our slot and got straight in. There is plenty of seating available, though it is first come first served.
Our little monster thoroughly enjoyed his time here, exploring everywhere - he especially liked the mini football area, with other boys playing football and inviting him to join in.
The cafe is really good, with plenty of choices - though it's not budget friendly.
The disabled toilets were out of order on our visit, which made changing our monster difficult - they may normally have much better facilities available. There is a small changing mat on a wobbly wooden stand. There is no place to put tings whilst changing.
We'll certainly be back if we're ever...
Read moreParking in the vicinity is horrendous, 10 minutes late and I was told that "your lateness isn't our fault" and the kids weren't able to go over 10 minutes because I just had "the session finishes at 11 30 ... the session ends at 11 30" repeated at me like I was stupid. Next session starting at 12pm - it wouldn't have killed them to allow the kids their full 90 minutes. Just plain mean. Women's toilets' taps need looking at and people can't sanitize if dispensers are empty. Communication on website re: coin machines would be really helpful for those who don't carry cash. My children had a great time which is all that matters - but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere, or not at all and have a beach front walk. I found it quite ironic that this is all housed in an old church building -I didn't get a welcome, friendly and helpful vibe whatsoever. And all for the sake of 10 minutes that couldn't be compassionately afforded to...
