What a lovely little tearoom. It’s on a side street, a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the pier, my sister in law took myself and my foster daughter for a treat, while we were all on holiday. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We had afternoon tea, sandwiches were delicious, the bread was lovely and soft, with a generous amount of filling. The scones were nicely slightly warm, with plenty of jam and cream. They did a children’s one too. Which my foster daughter loved as she got a scone and biscuits. My foster daughter was very taken with the vintage cups, saucers and plates, My sister in law also had a 15 minute reiki taster session. What more could you ask for. Allergies are catered for especially if you let them know at the time of booking. The only down side is that the function room is down stairs so anyone with mobility issues would struggle, for convenience there is a toilet downstairs so there's only need to go down and up once. There is a small area at the front of the teahouse to sit but that's on the main floor which is more convenient if you were popping in for a bite rather than a function. It’s an eclectic collection of furnishings and crockery… really different and cute! The Food is ALWAYS….top marks! Beautifully presented and good wholesome food.
