Hop & Vine — Restaurant in Great Britain

This small venue in a basement is easily missable from the road but real ale drinkers need to pop in. Only 3 casks on with a few boxed ciders but the 5 stars is for the company in there as well. The ale was well kept, the host (Tony) was very friendly. As a non-local, it is so nice when hosts give a good welcome. The locals in there were also very friendly (northern folk deserve full credit). Will be in Hull every month so will definitely be popping in here....
