Upon arrival I checked in and that was easy enough, however the room was very dirty and very run down, not worth the money at all, heater in the room did work but when on it smelled so bad of electrical burn we couldn't breathe so had to turn it off, the TV in the room was not connected to anything I did speak to reception and the security guy did try and bring another TV to try but after trying to connect the TV apologised the fittings in the room don't work so no TV, bedding had lots of hair on every layer, kettle provided was very rusty inside, cups provided were dirty, even though i rinsed them once i had made the cup of tea there was lots of bits in the tea (not sure if from kettle or cup) bathroom again just dirty and broken. Won't be staying again.

Very poor quality, when I entered my room with an old fashioned punch key there was the core of an apple on the floor so room evidently hadn't been cleaned properly; bathroom was grimy - there was hair in the plughole from the last guest. Second door into the room (after main door that leads directly outside) wouldn't close properly and I had to put a chair up against it to keep it shut. I arrived late in the evening otherwise would have gone to another hotel (couldn't find another hotel). A lot of noise from the road which could be greatly reduced if the hotel invested in double glazing. It's very affordable but did not feel safe there travelling solo.

Still good place to stay in. This place is average but it is nice. Although sometimes it is a bit pricy. One day I was charge 61 pounds! If i was the owner, I would think of 30 - 40 pounds as average price range for one night. The staff is nice, and humble. They always there for you. I have not tried meals there, so I cannot comment on that. But the resturant is always busy. The wifi is not free. You have to pay 3 pounds for 24H. Or you can ask them for welcome code. I still recommend it even though with its flaws.

A friend of ours booked us an overnight stay. On arrival we were asked for photo ID. It's a good job there's a photo on my disability bus pass or I would of been screwed this was not mentioned on the booking. The receptionists were very rude as they seemed to be very busy manning an Empty restaurant and the other having a laugh on What seemed to be a personal call. We finally got our room, I was so sadly disappointed. The first place I went was the toilet. The floor and wall tiles were disgusting, ingrained dirt, mould, mildew and yellowed limescale. There was blood on the toilet roll holder, door handle, and down the door it's self. The bath was dirty too, also ingrained dirt on The none slip patterning. I told my partner not to bother with it as I wouldnt even put an Animal In There!

The room was freezing cold. We finally figured out how to turn the heater on but it was still cold by the time we had to go out. There was a draft coming in through the windows and double entrance doors too.

We went out had a lovely meal and a few drinks. The room was still freezing when we got back even though we had been out for 6 hours. Our friend turned up to drop some drinks in to us. The staff called our room not even 2 minutes after she arrived telling us she has to leave because her car isn't registered to our room or they will fine us £100. The card explaining these terms said she had 20 minutes. She was literally dropping some drinks off to us as we were only supplied with enough tea n coffee for 2 drinks.

My partner and I decided to try to get settled down for the night, then discovered there were no spare sockets to charge out phones. We had to unplug the kettle and charge up one phone, before we could charge the other which meant I had to stay awake to change them over.

I'd just started to fall asleep when I was disturbed at 3am by screaming, banging and a fight erupting from a room, which I was surprised to find out was 3 rooms away from us. This woke my partner as well. It continued until the police arrived and someone was escorted from the premises. I by this point did not feel safe there at all. I had anxiety attacks at the slightest bang. This wasn't the quietest of hotels to begin with but after that I couldn't settle at all. I literally couldn't wait to be picked up in the morning.

Never again will I stay here when I can stay in a travel lodge for the same price literally...

Rooms normal standard size bit small but nothing to cry over and locations good but I have had a few problems during our stay for 3 nights And overall I'm not best pleased as their was a shady looking man roaming the grounds at night on saturday and he was circling the whole building he slipped a pair of gloves on before he made it to the stairs now i wasn't really looking into it then 10 mins have passed I was having a cig and the next thing you know he's come down the side of the building where I was in a really aggressive manner started picking his pace up by this point I've walked into my room and locked it next thing you know he's booted my door twice then proceeded to leave I didn't report this as I felt this had nothing to do with hotel and was by chance just an idiot but this morning I've left at 5.30 cause I work away and I had my girlfriend ring me at 6 o'clock this morning ring me only thirty minutes after I've left my girlfriends ringing me up crying saying she gone to check out the room gone to reception and same said man was there asking her for the room key my girlfriend said no I'll go in to reception and give it to someone in there and he was being aggressive towards her saying no one will answer just give me the key my girlfriends said no I'll put it in reception to the point the guy was giving her aggressive looks and proceeded to go and check the rooms out trying handles and all sorts for me this is super scary for people especially young women also the mice and rats at the back of the hotel weren't nice to see won't be coming back unfortunately and won't be recommending due to these...

I am Disabled and Cannot work,I dropped a friend of a friend off in November 2021, stayed long enough for a glass of water as I am Diabetic and had been stuck in the rediculous traffic on Beverley Road before going home, I received a threatening letter from a dodgy parking company called ParkingEye, the company claimed I had a "parking event" and have persued me for a reduced amount of £60 for going over the 20 mins allowed, when I looked at the photo evidence I arrived at 12:38:24 seconds, and left at 12:59:13 seconds , meaning they are trying to charge me £60 for 49 seconds, it says on Google that when taken to court they have to justify reasonable losses which are the justifications of charges, in my appeal I will be saying £60 for 49 seconds is not proportionate as you can rent a room for £35 or less for 24hours, and the tress and anxiety caused by them persuing a disabled person dropping off someone is disproportionate and in necessary harassment, I just rang Hotel Bar Campanile in Hull and tried to discuss the matter with an unprofessional female member of staff who said it's "nothing to do with them, and there are plenty of signs around" I think members of the public and anyone considering using This venue should be made aware of their unprofessional and un customer friendly bad attitude, the parking company itself has an appalling reputation of bullying of members of the public, I think any company who uses such a disreputable company needs to look at how their association will effect their reputation, I am appealing and am waiting for the Hull Daily Mail to get back to me and will update my review...
