So this a beautiful when you get to the top. The view of the lake and mountains is really magical BUT getting up there, please be careful because in this weather it can get very slippery.

The weather did let us down couldn't enjoy how other people showed in their reviews but I can imagine in summer it would be breathtaking.

Great little stopping point with some good views across lake Windermere. There is some free layby parking directly at the gated entrance. Small hill few mins ascent and then you are greeted with some stunning views. Plenty benches to take in the beauty and take a break.
