I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Therapie Clinic (Glasgow) has been appalling and deeply disappointing. I paid for over 10 sessions of laser hair removal, trusting their claims of "up to 90% permanent hair reduction." Despite following every instruction and attending all sessions, the results were minimal — and when I raised concerns, I was met with rudeness and a complete lack of accountability.

My formal complaint was ignored for months. I was constantly passed from one person to another, including the very clinic manager I had complained about. After finally escalating it, I received vague responses, empty apologies, and contradictory explanations that kept changing every time I followed up. The staff's tone became dismissive and unprofessional, and in the end, they simply closed my case without offering any resolution or refund.

Therapie Clinic is more than happy to take your money, but the moment you raise a concern, they disappear. Their customer care is non-existent once you're no longer a paying client.

I would strongly urge anyone considering their services to think twice. I’m now pursuing formal action through my bank and consumer protection channels. I expected better from a clinic that markets itself as professional and client focused.

I was sold a treatment based on the promise of up to 90% permanent hair reduction in 6–10 sessions — a claim that was central to my decision to proceed. After over 10 sessions, I saw minimal results (20%) despite following every instruction and attending each appointment without fail. At no point was I clearly told that over 10 sessions might just be the starting point — Only after I raised concerns did your staff begin changing the narrative.

The so-called “resolution” you claim to have offered was vague, inadequate, and failed to acknowledge any wrongdoing. Moreover, the way my complaint was handled — including being passed back to the very manager I had complained about — was unprofessional and inappropriate. This is not what any reasonable person would consider a fair or impartial process.

I find it unacceptable that instead of taking real accountability, you continue to downplay my experience and imply that I simply misunderstood or refused help. That is simply not the case. Not a pleasant experience overall. I pre-paid 6 sessions of Mango peel. £354. As the only safe alternative treatment as I was breastfeeding and pregnant at that time. In the first session, the therapist's beautician was an Asian lady, as soon as we started the treatment she started to sell me other products and treatments. I just wanted to keep quiet and enjoy the treatment.

Second treatment after 4 weeks I communicated to the lady that I didn't see the results I had expected, she said she would ask for another treatment alternative and get back to me, she never got back to me me even to book me in.

The next 3 sessions, It was another young lady which was very friendly and knowledgeable. Almost all sessions they were late for 10 to 15 minutes for my appointment, I communicated that I had a Limited time but they seemed that didn't care much as they kept repeating the same.

Once I called a night before the appointment to change the time they said it was not possible to as they needed 24 hours' notice but ironically another appointment they cancelled just 3 hours before the appointment. Zero integrity

The last appointment was today with the Asian lady again, I genuinely wanted to finish this treatment for the sake of the money I paid not because I was enjoying going there. I spoke with a lady I wasn't impressed by this experience and didn't get the results I wanted. At the end of the session, she checked the picture of me before the first treatment and comperd it with the picture after the treatment today, I explained my last treatment was 7 months ago and I had done other treatments on my face.

I asked at the reception if I could have potentially left my original Burberry scarf 7 months ago at the clinic, and she shut me off by telling me NO is not here. I again asked to check with the staff as this was long ago maybe they kept it somewhere. Again she said NO. She didn't even bother to ask and completely ignored me.

Overall, not worth it for the money. No results. No compassion or passion for the clients. They just take the money and don't care, especially when you pre-pay.

Quite Disappointed, I don't know why they have good reviews, my experience wasn't enjoyable.

Btw please be in touch with me if any Burberry scarf was found 7 months ago, I'm quite positive I left it there, it has an emotional value...

They acknowledged that the information on their website did not specify which body zones were included in each treatment category, such as the fact that the “full legs” option does not include the buttocks. They apologized and admitted that this lack of clarity was an issue, which I appreciated.

However, I now see a public comment under my review from another staff member, Danielle, claiming that the website does indicate the specific areas included. This contradicts what I was told over the phone. Danielle, I would kindly suggest that you double-check your own website before leaving misleading responses to reviews. It’s disheartening to see a lack of consistency in communication from the same company.

Also worth noting: the settings used during my sessions were extremely low, and I saw very minimal hair reduction. In contrast, after four sessions at Sk:n Clinic for a different body area, I’m already hair-free in that zone. The difference in treatment quality and transparency has been significant.

I stand by my original review: I would not recommend Thérapie Clinic to anyone looking for honest pricing, effective results, or clear communication.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased a six-session laser hair removal package at Thérapie Clinic, which included full legs, any bikini, and underarms. However, during my third session, I was unexpectedly informed that the buttocks area is not included in either the full legs or bikini area. To continue my treatment, I was charged an extra £135 for four sessions—essentially paying £34 more per session for an area that should logically be included in a full-leg treatment. Instead of offering me the full-body package, which would have been only £20 more per session and included everything, I was unfairly charged for a single small area.
