So long as you're just interested in a short climb to take in some great panoramic views of the area, this is a brilliant trip out for the casual walker who doesn't mind a hill. Ideal for someone who just wants to get outdoors but without it taking a full day of hiking to get there. Make your way up to the top from Corbar road up through Corbar woods and if you want you can carry on in a north easterly direction across the hills to bring you down at the lightwood reservoir area and come back via lightwood road to make it a short circular route.
