Went here with my grandmother. Brilliant menu with so much to choose from. We had the humus, calamari and asked for some olives to start. Humus was lovely and the pita bread was so soft. The calamari was so good and i think it was a garlic aioli type thing with it which was so good and the olives were great too. For mains we had a mushroom risotto with the extra chicken and my grandmother had the stuffed peppers and she loved it. She doesn’t normally eat much because she’s lost her sense of taste and smell but she finally ate the most I’ve seen her eat in a long time so thank you! Both mains were gorgeous. The risotto was so perfectly done. The rice wasn’t mushy and wasn’t hard, just right. The chicken was so tender and tasty. The stuffed peppers were lovely too. Thank you to all the staff at Ithaca, you were all lovely. I’ll be sure to visit again!!!

This is one of the best Greek tavern restaurants in England that I have ever visited. I have been to many Greek restaurants in London, but none compelled me to leave a review and return until I found this gem unexpectedly nestled in the heart of Baxton. The owners, Greek natives from Corfu, are true professionals who are passionate about their craft. I highly recommend it to everyone. My husband and I, both vegetarians, found a wide array of delicious dishes, including spinach pies, fasolakia, and aubergine salad, all made with high-quality ingredients and a lot of heart. Thank you and best of luck to the owners in their business endeavors!

Absolutely top notch dining experience at Ithaca. Highly recommend you book a table as other potential diners that hadn't booked were turned away. Anyhow , warm welcome on arrival , delicious food and good service , what else do you need ? There is an extensive menu and it was difficult to pick as there were so many nice dishes so as a compromise we chose one main dish and then added 4 starter dishes and a portion of fries. All cooked to perfection and packed full of flavour. Full plates to empty plates tells you all you need to know. Overall , a super dining experience and can't wait to visit again No hesitation in recommending, enjoy !!

This is rather a mixed review. I am gluten free so was pleased to see GF on the menu. My other half and I weren’t going to have a starter but one caught our eye that we thought we would try subject to if they offered gf pitta bread, which they did. We asked the manager if we could have some normal and some gf bread as a mix since my partner is not gf, and we received an abrasive reply from him, “it’s one or the other, or order another starter!” Wow! How much trouble would that have been??!! Really?! Come on! It seems they are all about the money and not a positive customer service experience!! For my meal, I ordered Lamb Kleftiko… however, my vegetableo came 3 mins after, so not too much of a problem but it felt ages as we both sat there waiting for them before we started… why not start you might ask? Well, I was given only 6 tiny half size new potatoes which I had to stretch out as the portion was disportionate to the meat, even though the meat wasn’t that big either! I asked if I could have a couple more potatoes and again greeted with an abrasive answer from the manager, “no that’s the portion but you can order another portion if you wish”! Money money!! What would it have taken to add what would have been one new potato??!! Hence no tip left! My partner had the seafood risotto which in contrast took him twice as long to eat as he had so many mussels and the portion was fairly generous, hence the two stars! I would also say if you can avoid it, don’t sit in the centre of the room as the doors to the entrance makes it very draughty when shut and very cold when they are opened! The Manager needs to have a word with himself about his customer service skills! Will not be returning!! Spent £45 on one starter, two mains and no drinks. We would’ve had drinks and dessert had we received more...

Went last night and I must say it didn't live up to the hype I'd heard of everyone. The food was nothing special and the service was awful. After starting our main course my wife said she wanted a drink so I tried to get the waitress attention numerous times and she turned her head away each time ignoring me. Once we finished our mains we had empty plates in front of us for over 30 minutes, still being ignored by the staff. When someone eventually took our empty plates away I asked them to get drinks for the table to be told it wasn't there job. By this time I'm fed up but the rest of the table want dessert, so we start playing the waiting game again. The second lot of drinks appear after being sat their for close on 50 minutes with empty glasses and low and behold they got the order wrong, I tried to get the staff's attention only to be ignored again. Eventually the desserts come followed closely by the bill. The staff now start staring at our table and no sooner is the last forkfull gone into our mouths the plates were whipped away. Now it gets interesting, I'd noticed a bigger member of staff had appeared from back of house and was taking interest in our table. As soon as we stood to leave he came rushing at us, I don't know what his intentions were but it made us feel uneasy. To sumerise if you want to take your family to an overpriced average restaurant to be ignored and then made to feel uncomfortable at the end of your meal wasting 2 hours of your life then this is the...

My chips were soaked in oil. You could see just by looking at them. I pressed on them and oil oozed out. I complained about it and was told I would be given some more "regular" chips. I got exactly the same oily chips back maybe 2% better. I tried one and didn't eat the rest. Also the chips are skin on chips but the menu doesn't tell you this. It should do. Not everyone can eat potato skins.

My chicken kebab was a little dry but more annoyingly chargrilled way too much with black hard charcoal around it. The only way I could eat it was to cut off all the many burnt bits. The menu just says grilled. It doesn't say chargrilled. There is a big difference between the two cooking methods. Again, like the chips, it is not accurate. So I didn't enjoy my meal.

The waiter was aware of my issues of the chicken and chips and saw I left all the chips behind and yet still had the cheek to charge me full price without even a small discount. I paid a lot of money for average food.

Won't be going again.

I got back to my hotel and the proprietor asked how was my night. I told him and he said he and his wife went once and had bad stomach aches from the oil. Had I known in advance I...
