The Pier Head on the Liverpool Waterfront is a must visit and has so much to offer. The three graces are amongst the most recognisable waterfront settings in the world never mind the UK. So good they were copied many times over on the Shangai waterfront in China. Along with the amazing buildings and architecture you have the fabulous walks from the Liverpool Cruise terminal right along through the Royal Albert docks all the way to Otterspool. Read moreWe bought the Mersey Ferry tour, which leaves every hour from Pier Head. The building has a café and a Beatles themed gift shop on the ground floor and a modern restaurant with rooftop terrace however it wasn’t open on our visit. The tour itself was great, you get to learn a lot of history about Liverpool and beyond, as well as seeing the famous historical sites.
