Boots need to look into this store and sort out your customer service.
Firstly I get followed around by the security endlessly, I mean ... I understand itâs your job to make sure no one is shoplifting but when see actual shoplifters and the security guy is following me ... I donât know what youâre doing. So many occasions Iâve seen people stealing and he is either following me or heâs on his phone.
Waiting for prescriptions is a pain in the butt. I am also sympathetic that you are super busy but itâs seems like youâre massively understaffed on the prescription front. Itâs ridiculous to have someone come in to âcollect a repeat prescriptionâ but have to wait an hour or sometimes more. (Have been told to come back ... on many occasions only to return to be told to come back). Really really unorganised. There is obviously a demand, you need a better and more organised system.
Whilst the queue is building up for people to pay for their things the shop assistants are swanning around the store restocking items at the slowest speed you have ever seen.
All in all a very frustrating boots store. You will just get annoyed if you come in here. So I would just recommend you to avoid if you can. Locals, get your doctors to send prescriptions to Superdrug. Much...
Read moreHibo Muuse gave us very unprofessional service. I queued up for 40 mins asking for a drug which was sent to another pharmacy but wasnât open on Saturday. The box had my name and details, and said 4mg x30. She said no because I didnât have a prescription, fair enough, she advised ring 111 to get a prescription. I did this, and 3 hours later got the exact same prescription sent straight to Boots. By this point Iâm bedbound and vomiting with HG pregnancy sickness so my husband ran to Boots with our toddler, queued another 30 mins, saw Hibo who said she remembered me. She had the prescription and said no, because itâs an âodd dosageâ. My husband said this has been prescribed by 3 people, GP, specialist and 111 like you told us, and you wonât give it? And she said no. My husband went next door to Superdrug who said they would happily give it, but didnât have it in stock, they confirmed it was a very standard dosage, just 10 daysâ worth. By this time, it wasnât long before pharmacies closed. We donât have a car so my husband ran home, dropped our toddler with bedbound vomiting me, grabbed a lime bike and cycled to another pharmacy who happily gave the drug. Hibo caused us a huge amount of unnecessary grief and...
Read moreThis is a relatively small Boots but does have pharmacy, small range of make up, hair products, baby products, female and male personal items along with various other limited products. It also has an extensive pharmacy. One very annoying things about this Boots is the signage for different products. This store would benefit enormously from having signs / information hanging from the ceiling, similar to those in large supermarkets, so that customers can easily find what they are looking for. The current 'small' signage attached to the display stands is far too small and ineffective. Every time I come into this Boots, I have had to endlessly wonder up and down the isles looking for what I want to buy. This wastes my time and also the time of the shop assistant I have to ask, who inevitably has to lead me to what I am looking for. So come on Boots, get signage hanging from the ceiling to make the shopping experience in your store a better one please. On the up side, I have always found the staff on shop floor and the tills pleasant...
