Read moreWent here for drinks on the 18/8/2018 & was very disappointed with the service. When ordering a round of drink had to tell the bar person my order one drink at a time when when paying for said drinks he couldn't remember what I had ordered so I had to repeat my order one drink at a time. When I asked for a receipt he said he gave me one. I said no you have me my credit card receipt not a receipt of drinks. When my friend went for drinks the bar person never rinsed the measure so the drinks after the 1st 2 were tainted. At 11pm a bar person appears & demanded the glasses I was still drinking from. He said that there were no drinks served in glasses after 11pm but there was no signage to inform the public of this. When paying £50 for 4 drinks I expect to drink out of glassware not plastic! I definitely will not be returning to...
Read moreI went there, a couple of months ago, for a beer, and the lady that served me a pint of Guinness, was quite unfriendly, to say the least. She poured me the Guinness at once, instead as everyone knows, you have to let it rest, and pour it in two times. When I asked her "how much is it?", again in a rude way, she got close to my card, with the contactless machine, without even showing me the price. Went back there, spoke to the manager, while the lady denied she had messed up with me, I was told that it would be impossible to find who had messed it up, because she has 50 staff. In that pub?!?! Finally, when I went back there, an other lady, probably a member of staff, was standing on the door, like preventing me to enter the pub. If they had told me I wasn't welcome, I do not for whatever reason, I would have bothered to go...
