Disgusting place, rude service. I had the dubious pleasure of talking to a pharmacist Liam who claims to be the owner of this store, saying that this is his private store and he rules here. The point was that he asked me to pay by card and not by cash. Unfortunately, I did not have money on the card l but I had cash which they did not want to accept and thus deprived me of buying my medicines. I will only add that there is no law adopted by the government that prohibits paying with cash, or which prohibits the acceptance of cash and orders the customer to pay by card. This is only a suggestion and advice to use the card instead of cash but in no way a warrant and in no store the seller has the right to require the customer to pay for the goods by card!!! Such rudeness and trash must be suppressed at every turn and I will not leave it unnoticed, these people should not work in any store. Maybe sweeping the streets would teach them more humbleness to the client. Of course, the appropriate report and complaint will be submitted to the appropriate authorities, this guy is not a God!!! He is just a seller, who should serve the customer with due diligence and courtesy, in the thought: he is for me, not me for him and I give him a salary with my purchases, end of story!!! There's plenty other stores with really nice sellers, nobody should do shopping there. Let the rude...
Read moreMy last visit was so upsetting, i went in to collect my repeat prescription of contraceptives and was asked by the pharmacist whether i normally pay for these and i said no because they are contraceptives and her response was âwell you shouldâ đł i could not believe my ears. She then said it was ok and gave me the prescription free of charge, contradicting herself, and did not apologise either.
I have noticed there is a lack of consistency between pharmacists. One says one thing, and the other says another, contradicting themselves. I came to the same boots in May to collect the same prescription and was told i do not need to pay as its contraception. Get a grip. I honestly am starting to believe this is a tactic to intimidate someone into paying, when other sources say prescribed contraception is free. Feel sorry for anyone that falls into their trap of paying for prescribed contraceptions.
I then bought some things from boots and the cashier, an indian woman, her name started with an âNâ, did not greet me, i politely asked for a bag once and was ignored so had to ask a second time. She then gave me the bag and did not help me bag the items i had bought. It was very apparent she did not want...
Read moreI felt Let down. I bought £224 electric shaver - supposedly in clearance as their was an issue with boxes and was beaten up a bit. Well when I got home did check on Boots normal price at present for this product - it was exactly the same price. I also found another problem. So since it was on warranty I took advantage of full refund on my visa card - on my return.
. I told this staff member that I found my earlier shopping experience wearisome because also the packaging of Braun shaver failed to give me the satisfaction of clearly knowing which serial no shaver I had bought leading me to probably fail to see instructions tucked hidden in the box and to find them on line too. I was not given advice in the shop that the instructions were there. In fact we discussed that issue of no instructions. I thought its OK I'm getting it at half price so I could live with no instructions and they knew too its common these days not to have instructions as they can be looked at on line. But this staff member thought it was kind to offer me another shaver or get a refund, but fail to see I had ligitimate reason to have...
