Well what can I say??.....An absolute gem of a store with the best team of staff I've ever come across! We first visited the London store in October last year and from that very first visit it became my son's favourite place ever! Being autistic he can get overwhelmed very quickly and is often quite anxious. When we're out he is usually by my side and doesn't really like to interact with others an awful lot. Not in this store however!!!! Thanks to your amazing staff he is like a different boy as soon as he steps foot in his 'heaven on earth' store! He now walks around independently whilst myself and my partner sit in the bar area and watch with pride and for me as his mum- I feel such huge appreciation to all the guys in there for making him feel so amazing! Paul in particular is an absolute legend and a pure asset to the store and brand! I'm sure he doesn't realise just how much of a huge impact he has had on my son! The first time he came across Paul he took the time to chat with him and they spoke about their love of football and talked about all the different shirts he liked. It was Paul that has given him the confidence to walk around independently, introducing him to each and every team member! All of which are also just amazing! Their love for their job shines through each time we visit and every one of them take the time to chat and give advice to my son as he filters through tonnes of shirts he wants to buy! When someone with autism has a passion and wants to collect something they don't do it half heartedly! He saves all of his money, sells things he no-longer wants to fund his football shirt collection and has even purchased 2 clothes rails and wooden hangers! On each visit he easily spends £100 but the staff always give him their personal opinions and advice which is lovely! On the first weekend of the holiday's we booked a weekend away to London and had to book into the hotel just around the corner to ensure we were close enough to pop in..he was so excited! Each visit is at least 2 hours long! We sit and get to relax whilst watching him chat and browse with his "crew!"...priceless! Ben absolutely made his day on our last visit, introducing him as a staff member to all the other guys! (He was given a staff lanyard which he didn't take off all weekend! The London store is constantly on my TV at home as he loves to watch all the videos filmed that are on YouTube...he loves Ellis and prays he's lucky enough to see him one day whilst visiting the store! I know this is a huge review but honestly guys you deserve it!!! You are legend's that make my boy feel like an absolute VIP and I cannot tell you enough what that means to me and just how much you help him and give him a boost and self worth, something he really lacks in! I hope all the 'important' people get to see this! We will see you all very soon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a huge fan of football shirts, visiting the Classic Football Shirts store in London was something I had been looking forward to for agesāand it didnāt disappoint. The shop was buzzing with fellow football fans, all of us flipping through racks of retro shirts and smiling as we recognized names from the backs of kits that took us back years. It was crowded, but in a good wayānever uncomfortable, just full of people who clearly shared the same passion.
The storeās focus is very much on retro shirts, which I actually loved. Being able to see the actual condition of these classic kits in person is a big plus over the online experience. Thereās something about holding the shirt and checking out the details up close that just hits different. That said, I do wish they carried a bit more of the current seasonās shirts, especially from non-UK clubs. Their new stuff is pretty limited.
Also, after seeing some of the price tags, Iām kicking myself for not holding on to a few of my own old shirtsāwho knew theyād be worth this much now?
All in all, a must-visit for any football shirt collector or fan. Just donāt be surprised if you walk out feeling nostalgic⦠and a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA significantly disappointing experience in this store. I visited with my parents just days after the lionesses won the Euros, hoping to find a womenās shirt. To my complete shock this store had absolutely nothing to offer. When approaching the section entitled āChampionsā I was greeted by the shirts of exclusively male players. What a hilarious sentiment that days after these women pull off their second European title in a row you cannot enter a store in London, dedicated to football jerseys, and pick up one of their shirts. In fact, menās jerseys such as Harry Kaneās, were placed beneath this sign, as if THEY had just won something. Furthermore, the pitifully tiny section dedicated to womenās shirts included no specific players. Meaning these women are reduced to just a subsection of football, as opposed to their own individual identity. Embarrassing for this store that they have not yet caught up and realised that football is for EVERYONE. A complete lack of representation and inclusivity, that is...
