Cutie Pies Eastham branch: Both my two youngest boys attend Cutie Pies at Eastham and it was the best decision I've made in terms of preschool in Newham, my first son was 2 years old and started in the toddler room over a year ago, I was anxious as he had somewhat of a speech delay at first, as soon as he settled he was forming small sentences clearly and developed in his communication skills as well as Confidence. Sultana the Room leader at the time was always approachable and supportive and Khaleda his Key worker at the time was amazing in every way. Thank you ladies, now he is currently in the Preschool room with Parul as a great leader and educator, He is developing in all areas of the Early Years preschool curriculum. My baby is currently attending in the baby room Sahar the room leader is always communicative in her feedback and regular progress as well as so supportive, he is excelling and growing very happy. Bithi his key worker is always so caring, nurturing and genuine in her love for him. I feel reassured the boys are happy, safe and most importantly cared for in all aspects. This is all ofcourse with the great care hardwork, effort and genuine care the manager Suaad puts in to managing the overall running of the nursery and All under her duty of care, Anisa the deputy has also brought great creativity and extra fun to school and Maria is just so hands on with everything as well as being friendly and approachable all the time. My son has been attending this nursery for just over a year and we’ve had a great experience. I found it VERY hard during the settling period but the staff in the babies room were very reassuring and after a couple of months my son really thrived as a part time attendee of the nursery. I truly believe the staff in the babies and toddler rooms have had a huge impact on his social, literacy and numeracy skills, he knew all of his shapes, colours and was confidentially counting to 20 prior to turning two, as well as some sign language (all credit defiantly goes to the nursery for the sign language) and many names of peers and words.

I had my reservations initially because to be frank, compared to some of the other nurseries in and around Stratford and Maryland, aesthetically there was definitely room for improvement but actually in hindsight, I think that is least important - and the quality of childcare that my son has received has been great.

The staff have always been very good at giving us a summary at the end of the day of how my son has got on in the day and they keep the app regularly updated with activity throughout the day as well as pictures.

There have been some changes in management in this past year, but it’s clear the current Manager Rehana is making some great enhancements to the nursery and is very responsive to queries and questions via email etc.

Cutie pies have been a wonderful place for my daughter over the last 3 years (and counting). They have offered the welcoming and fun environment that all working families need so they don’t encounter the guilt of not being able to provide that care themselves when they go to work. There has been one key theme throughout the several rooms that we have transitioned through with age, and that’s developing well mannered and caring children. Being a single parent I have often needed a second voice to corroborate the themes of right and wrong, of inclusion, fun and limits, and the staff have been brilliant at offering a mirror of the standards I attempt to set myself. Their feedback and advice is getting even better as the staff continue to improve, and my daughter ages, which gives me a better informed and educated steer on how to continue Evie’s development whether in their care or mine. I really appreciate all the input offered and special nods to the staff who have been so influential in Evie’s growth and development - Tasmiyah, Jennifer, Salmay, Kalesha, Urooj, Destiny, Samia, Joya (sp?)and Wahida to mention just a few but that’s a non exhaustive list of great...
