Nice enough exhibits but disappointing. One room with various dolls and a couple of dolls houses. Woman who apparently owns the collection brought me around the room giving me a quick not very necessary or relevant commentary. This took about 10 mins after which I said I'd have a closer look because I didn't have the chance while she was speaking. She was happy for me to do this but walked into the reception area calling a man's name saying "there's a lot of money" in other words telling him to come and watch in case I stole anything. Fair enough as she didn't know me, but I felt she should have been more discreet. As he was standing there waiting I felt I had to rush. £1.50 entry. Don't go especially as you wouldn't spend more than 20 mins even if you were...
Read moreI visited the museum last Saturday 18/1/25 and it was such an interesting visit, a very eclectic collection of dolls from around the world also some toys and dolls houses. This collection has so many stories and is being looked after by a volunteer team who clearly put so much into what they do here and were very pleasant and helpful.
