Absolute worst experience with these estate agents. If I could -5 stars!!!! Let's start from the beginning: They turn up late to the viewing. They miss spell my name incorrectly 4 TIMES, on the contract. There checks were at an incredibly high bar e.g. If you're not a permanent worker, we don't like your kind. Miss informing about guarantors from another country. They became unorganised once they have your money, they don't like answering your question unless you email and phone at least 5 or 6 times, sometimes even having to get the landlord to give them a nudge. When we renewed they said because there's a minor change on the Contract, we have to pay and go through the ENTIRE PROCESS again, (which included misspelling my name incorrectly only 3 times this time). At the time the place we were in became a building site, as they were building another layer of flats above us, which we were not aware of this becoming a thing. Which involved several floods and noise pollution. Even then they wanted to raise the rent and said to our landlord "well if they don't want to pay, you can just kick them out and we find you new tenants!" 2 Years later, building work still going, and they still wanted the rent raised, luckily the landlord knew about the situation we were in and didn't give into peer pressure from these people. They also wanted us to pay to renew our contract after the 1st July 2019. Even when we tried to get our deposit back, they were adamant about giving it back to us, and tried to encourage the Landlord to pocket some of the deposit and blame us for the damages the outsourced builders had done to the property These 'people' give little regard to you as a human, they may put on there smiles and charms, until they get your money then you're just a thing they "unfortunately" have to deal with.....until you have...
Read moreWe made a decision to sell our flat and naturally wanted to see a few companies first before we decide who to market with.
Steve immediately made me feel comfortable as there was no pressure selling, just straight talking.
I decided to go with Greene and Co or I should say go with Steve.
After a few potential buyers, it was decided what price we should be seeking and having done that, I got a buyer who was genuine and had the money to pay for it, credit to Steve and the team for carrying out due diligence as £600k is not exactly chicken feed and not everyone can either afford it or persuade their bank to give them that amount!
I have to say with the exception of solicitors slightly dragging their heels, the actual purchase sailed through smoothly.
All in all, I have to admit given the attitude many people have on estate agents, I actually enjoyed working with your company and achieved the results we all wanted.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank Steve( I did drive him a bit crazy with the chasing, sorry Steve!) Simon was great and obviously put in much effort that helped seal the deal.
People always say, ' I would not hesitate to recommend' etc etc but I actually mean it. Well done everyone and keep up the good work, you are definitely changing people's opinion on...
Read moreI recently completed purchase of a one bed flat in London W9. This purchase was through Hamptons, Maia Vale, and the agent in charge was Ms. Margit Viirma, their Senior Sales Consultant.
I can emphatically say that it was a real pleasure dealing with Margit, who provided a most professional service, and who contributed immensely to make the flat purchase process to be “friendly’, and totally hassle free. She and her team, to include Steve Kadi the Associate Director, are first rate professionals, and I will strongly endorse and recommend them. Margit had strong relations with the seller, and her ability to pick up the phone to iron out the wrinkles associated with the flat sale/purchase, was greatly beneficial to both parties.
When I was initially viewing the flat and deciding on the purchase decision, Margit was immensely helpful in arranging repeated viewings, providing unbiased input, and above all, there was no push or pressure from her to try and clinch the deal. This frankly came as a pleasant and welcome surprise, as my previous experience dealings with estate agents has been rather mixed, with some no better than used car salespersons!
I do wish Margit continued success in her career and am sure she will have many more...
