The shop owner was friendly and helpful, but his helper wasn't well trained enough to serve customers independently.

Downsides: Helper did not verify which print request email was mine. They did not provide the page weight that I had requested. The actual colour print quality was horrendous: yellow smear at the bottom of each page, the prints had a yellowish tone, way off from the originals. They either chose not to replenish their ink or they failed to properly maintain their printer.

Upsides: Helper proactively asked whether I had a student discount. Shop is run by ethnic minority in an affluent neighbourhood. I give them credit for the effort. Both staff members wore face masks correctly. Mostly...

Although I work nearby and visit the shop from time, my visit today was the first in several months and I was surprised to find the shop frontage has been replaced, with the entrance door now on the right and the shop window on the left (the opposite of what is shown in the photo here). It makes it easier to move around inside & you also see the staff counter as soon as you walk in and I would think it's better for the staff too as they can now see all the customers who enter.

Hassan is amazing! I came several times for lamination. She is always very helpful and helps me laminate with heart! My lamination includes a lot of loose pictures in one lamination, which is quite tricky and time-consuming.
