I was here with my friends for the Zenless Zone Zero (Operation Yum) Collab. Let's just say, I came there the first day of the event for the Collab only. I came back the second day of the event, this time for both the Collab and the Burgers they served there. The employees there were very kind, passionate at talking to you at the tills, asking you how the meal was, clearing your tray and rubbish on your behalf whilst you're still seated. One of the employees, who I assumed wasn't too familiar with the Collab game, put amazing effort into learning the names of the characters, which really made me smile that they really cared about their customers coming in. The burgers... Oh my gooood... It was the best chicken burger I ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE. I've had many chicken burgers in my life in many different restaurants/fast food chains and in many different countries, but BUTCHIES!? BUTCHIES IS ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL MAN! The bun was very soft and had an amazing texture, it wasn't dry or greasy, it was perfect. The chicken in the burger? Brilliant! The fried exterior was crispy to the right amount! It's not too thin or thick, just perfect. The flavour is not complex, it's simple yet spectacular. It wasn't greasy or dry either, it was balanced amazingly. And the inside of the chicken? Perfectly cooked! Very juicy to the bite. The sauce? I had no idea what it was, but dang it hit good. It wasn't oversaturated or underutilized, the amount complimented the burger. It definitely had a mayo taste/feel to it, which I liked, but there was much, MUCH more to the sauce, it was definitely not your typical mundane sauce. It was very mildly spicy to me but that's just me, even the mildest stuff is spicy to me. The fries? They were great. They weren't very crispy, but they were more than sufficient. The texture and taste was suitable with the burgers and it's definitely better than most other fast food places. The Biscoff Milkshake? Really good! If you have a sweet tooth, then I really recommend this with the food. It was thick but not too thick, which is good because it was going up the straw easily without having to use all of my lungs for a drop. You can definitely taste the Biscoff. And the prices were actually reasonable, if not generous. Especially with the portion sizes which did fill me up for the day. And it was all ready in like 2 minutes since I ordered it, they were really fast! The food was hot and fresh and it didn't look rushed at all, they were really quick! The chefs did an outstanding job with the food, major compliments to them! The restaurant was clean, organised, and welcoming. The interior and exterior was pleasant to the eye. The bathroom was clean, it was accessible as well. I'm glad they actually have standards here! So long story short, The best chicken burger I've had in my life. And the Collab event was amazing. The staff were above and beyond! Thank you to all the staff at Butchies and the event organisers there who gave me and many other fans of Zenless Zone Zero a spectacular experience! Anby would be very proud!

Walked past Butchies Friend Chicken on the way to a show and saw a sign that said ‘Best Fried Chicken in London’ - This is a BOLD statement and as unofficial Chicken Tester of London and personal friend of Colonel Sanders of KFC (he is my uncle on the chicken breast side..) I decided to go in and challenge them.. Greeting by Miguel.. he claimed to be a chicken legend. He stood by his claim. He was bold, confident and smelt like gravy.. this was my man. He challenged me to guess where he was from. After guessing half the globe, I got it. He recommended wings, tenders, gravy.. he supplied the free cheese. 10 minutes in.. the chicken was.. Excellent. Fresh, tender, little kick of spice. Gravy was amazing, my food partner loved the melted cheese. is it the best chicken in London, I’ve only tried 72% of the chicken venues. Is Miguel destined to a life of promoting excellent chicken? I’m not sure but go and see him, tell him Tony sent, he’ll offer you a sauce probably or could charge you double. He’s from Macedonia by the way, if you guess it, he’ll give you 10% off your order.. BFC, give the man a pay rise, free chicken or a new jumper. He deserves it.

Oh my goodness the flies everywhere! They cannot be cleaning the place or emptying the bins properly or regularly enough. The member of staff on duty couldn’t have been less interested when I mentioned it so going to do a report to the local council it was so bad and there’s something very wrong. Never seen anything like it. The chicken was average, there’s far better in London. The value for money was awful, £2 extra for the tiniest drizzle of average cheese sauce on the fries? Huge disappointment, won’t be back.

Update June 21, 2025: I don't know if this is under new management or what, but the service here is COMPLETELY different. There are no more smiling faces, and nobody is going above and beyond to make you feel welcome. None of the people that were there in our last visit were there, and that would be okay if the people who replaced them provided the same level of service. But, they didn't.

The guy who took our order did so with a stone face as if he were in a hurry to get rid of us. When I asked for a carry out box and bag, the guy repeated it like I had asked for something he had never heard of. Then he handed it to me while turning away from me and not even looking at me. Although I was very polite (saying please and thank you), he did not return the same pleasantries. He was dismissive and only gave the obligatory short responses necessary to answer my direct questions (e.g., yes, no... ).

We had been looking forward to returning here to eat the delicious chicken. Although, the chicken was still tasty, the cost to enjoy it (£1.25 for each tiny little cup of sauce for your chicken wings - sauces should be complimentary with purchase of chicken) along with the dismissive service, makes it not worth ever returning here.

I NO LONGER recommend this place unless you don't mind being dismissed and made to feel unwelcome while overpaying for a thimble full of sauce (which, by the way, was not even CLOSE to enough sauce to cover 2 or 3 wings, let alone the 18 chicken wings we purchased.)

Original post June 16, 2024: We were staying in London for one night before returning to the States and went exploring looking to find something to eat.

We stumbled across this place and decided to try it. We ordered chicken wings and fries. They TRULY are some of the best chicken wings we've tasted! They were crispy and flavorful, and the sauces were also delicious.

Josiah and Lawal provided fast and courteous service with smiles. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Josiah, who went above and beyond to make sure that we got our orders as soon as it was ready.

Lawal prepared the food and served it hot and fresh with a huge beautiful smile! We sat in the dining area and enjoyed some great music while we ate and chatted. I'm so glad we gave this place a try.

If you’re on the hunt for a chicken experience that reignites your love for comfort food, look no further than Butchies London Bridge. This gem effortlessly combines quality ingredients with a dash of creativity, and I couldn’t wait to share my delightful experience!

I decided to treat myself to 8 chicken tenders, a heaping serving of fries, and 3 rich, flavorful gravies. As I settled into the vibrant atmosphere of Butchies, I was already anticipating a simple meal—but what came out of the kitchen went far beyond my expectations.

First, let’s talk about the chicken tenders. Each piece was a masterpiece—perfectly golden brown on the outside, with a satisfying crunch that gave way to incredibly juicy, tender meat. The seasoning was spot on, delivering a flavor punch that had me reaching for another tender before I even finished the last. Whether you prefer them plain, spicy, or with one of their unique sauces, these tenders are a definite must-try.

The fries complemented the chicken perfectly. Crisp, golden, and generously portioned, they were the ideal vehicle for the delicious gravies I ordered. Speaking of which, the gravies were a revelation! Each one had its own personality—rich, savory, and oh-so-comforting. I found myself dunking and drenching those crispy fries and succulent tenders, each bite sending me deeper into a state of pure culinary bliss.

What truly set this experience apart, however, was the service. The staff at Butchies were welcoming and attentive, making sure each aspect of my meal was just right. Their passion for great food shines through, and it’s clear they’re dedicated to providing an unforgettable dining experience.

In summary, my visit to Butchies London Bridge was nothing short of extraordinary. From their mouthwatering chicken tenders to the heavenly gravies, every aspect of the meal surpassed my expectations. I walked away not just full, but with a newfound appreciation for comfort food elevated to a whole new level. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and indulge in what Butchies has to offer—you...
