Great family day out but be prepared foldable seats or blankets sun cream (its suprisingly cold when your just sat there on a windy September day) a picnic (if your being savvy as the food is on the expensive side and not the best) ear defenders for little one & change for the parking ranging from £5 up to £8. There was a range of stalls and activities from flight simulators to a free gamers driving race to win a set of tyres. The show was fully narrated with some amazing aerobatics , ( I never knew a Helicopter could go backwards 𤯠my personal favourite was the Euro Fighter Typhon but they were all outstanding. We paid on the gate & under 5's are free and recieved vouchers to use on the pleasure beach too, which was a bonus. Overall I would definitely recommend and It was nice to see such a variety of ages supporting such a well thought out event, also the Fire works and the Friday night were a big hit with my children.

Paid the airshow but parking is none existent....cars backing up and no staff to advise the thousands of people who have paid as to what was going on the show started ar 10am we missed 2 hours of it. Went to see if we could exchange our tickets to the pier seated dye to a disability, but was met with no all sold out, however it was clear there were still hundreds of free seats. The ticket office didn't know what was going on nor could they sell us pier tickets? Not very helpful at all, one food stand and it took 20 minutes per person to be sev d. We and a few other people then had to go to McDonald's to get food, however that was a good call as it was cheaper. Total shambles in the way if organisation from the council and events planners. Well done to the Air force š. Shane we missed most of the show. Will stick to Blackpool air show next time- way superior and very well organised!

It's not pretending to be RIAT and much better from the pier. First time paying for Lancaster at Southport Airshow in 2019. In my opinion, well worth the extra. Welcome was nice, with complimentary refreshments throughout the day and a superior packed lunch. Private access to part of the pier, which gave excellent views of the surroundings and a unique perspective on the aircraft display. Can get lots of sun and wind, so be well prepared. Met lots of nice like minded people and staff were great. Only quibble is you have to walk back along and down to the lounge in order to access the private toilet, which was clean and tidy. Highly enjoyable and recommended.

Friday Night Airshow This is 1 event I particularly love going to so much to see and do. I prebooked tickets online. My friend and I stood on the beach, where you get a fantastic view of everything, We loved seeing the Red Arrows- as they are such a big crowd pleaser and fantastic to watch- could watch them all day- they are brilliant. The airshow village is spread over the beach and the marine parade. Where there's lots of places to get food drinks, simulators, activities for kids, etc. It is a fantastic event for the whole family to attend. Great to see so many people enjoying Southport.

Although the parking cost £10 and had to travel half a mile from the car park. The pilots put on an amazing show, thank you to all at the RAF

The displays were absolutely amazing. But we attended on Saturday and the queues were huge to get in due to only having two people reviewing tickets. The audio system was kitted out onto the beach so you couldnāt hear anything being said. The displays were so spaced out throughout the day and because we couldnāt hear we just had to wait around for the schedule. The military village was good and well set out. All the food trucks had massive queues and were massively over priced
