Absolutely Fantastic!! My son had his birthday party there over the weekend and it really was super. The facilities are great, and all very new and well kept. It is definitely the cleanest children's play centre I've ever been too, it has very high standards and is very well maintained. The party food was great - a wide range of choice to suit all of the children and there was plenty of it too! The cafe also offers a good selection of snacks and meals with smaller 'toddler' portion options which is handy. The play area itself is massive, and not just regular ball ponds and slides - there is an interactive zone with a projector showing images on the floor that the children need to catch, or move around which my son loves. Not often you see interactive, educational games in a play centre. My daughter loves the under5's role play area, there is a shop where they can pretend to be the shopkeeper or the shopper which keeps her entertained for ages! I didn't realise how big the main frame was until my last visit when I went in to help my son find his way to the top of the slide. It is HUGE! It has 5 layers with different themes and activities all the way up including a brilliant thunder and lightening zone. All of the staff are very friendly and happy to help, they were brilliant from the minute we arrived and there is nothing they won't do to make sure the party runs smoothly. One of the things that I particularly love about Bubbles is how safe I feel my children are there. There are locked gates at the exit and they can not leave the play centre until you have signed them out. There are also cameras showing all of the floors in the playzone which is very handy when you ate trying to locate all of the children at a party. Overall we had a great tine at the party, as we do every time we go to Bubbles. All of the children definitely enjoyed themselves and all of the parents were commenting on what a great place is is for a party, most of the dads especially were dying to go in and have a play too :-) Really can't recommend this place enough for a fun, stress-free party or a playdate. There is something for all ages and you get to sit and have a coffee whilst they are off enjoying...

Paid close to £40 quid to take my baby niece and 10 year old in (to play together) and a very young member of staff (granted only doing her job) called my daughter and politely told her she was too big to play in the play area as it’s 0-5.
My sister explained that she wasn’t going in to play she was literally sitting on the floor with her playing with the baby. Not running about, not using the slides.. literally holding the baby.
The girl said there was nothing she could do she’s been told not to let over 5s in so I asked for the manager.
Who straight away had been told why I wanted to speak to him and came over with a tone on the defensive. I explained again that my daughter wasn’t playing she was sitting with my sister playing with the baby. I said I’d paid close to 40 quid for the four of us to come in and play together and I wasn’t happy that she wasn’t allowed to sit in there with her.
I asked if she was in there on her own looking after the baby would that be different? While he was stumbling over his words I then asked if a single mum came in with a 7 year old and 12 month old would the siblings not be allowed to be together, the answer was no. Which is absolutely absurd.
I asked could they not take a more common sense approach and maybe just monitor the behaviour of the older children who are playing? (Just need to state again here my daughter wasn’t playing she was sat on the Matt holding her cousin and passing her balls to play with) I was told no, because this was too difficult to manage.
He then said in the same breath what he could do for me is put a member of staff on the 5+ play area and you can take the baby in there and we can monitor the play area so it’s not too rough 😂🤯
How is one any different from the other?
It’s ridiculous and very poorly managed and we certainly won’t...
Read moreVery young staff working there, that wouldn't be a problem if they had any knowledge and experience dealing with young children but they clearly didn't. One girl just looked at my child when she ran out the play area rolled her eyes and said in a patronising voice erm that way and pointed the other way... my friend ordered chips and cheese.. I'm not sure if the order got mixed up on the way to the kitchen but she basically had a blonde weave in her food... she got a refund from the one sane member of staff that worked there plus a replacement which she dabbled at with caution. Me and my friend were sat by the main slide area there was two doorman on the entrance screaming "how old are you" and "sit down" periodically...I left the premises briefly to get a bag I left in the car, there is electronic doors that let you in and out the premises, I can only describe like i was time warped to when I was 17 trying to enter a club as the staff on the door asked me who was watching the children and if I would be back?? Wouldn't let me exit until I gave her a satisfactory response... On my return I entered the soft play where I saw two of Birkenheads finest canoodling between the ball pool and the slide she looked quite comfortable.. I think the male was taking a nap in all honesty. Overall a very bizarre experience. Will not be returning. Overpriced...
