Visited teatime today (26th Aug '20) for a family meal. We booked in advance because told we would need to otherwise we wouldn't be seated, but when we arrived it was eearily quiet. We were shown to table 27 and then given the Covid talk which was very professional. Ordered our meals. My steak arrived and the presentation was awful, my wife's curry looked lovely and my daughters was totally wrong. The waiter insisted it was what we ordered but my wife showed him the order on her phone that she had read out to the cashier so he had obviously misunderstood when taking it. Also no cutlery arrived with the meals so we were left waiting. Not impressed as I don't like cold steak. Cutlery should arrive either before or with meals. Waited a good while for the replacement meal to arrive. Also 2 of the meals should have come with onion rings but didn't. The other major problem were the flies. They were relentless. So much infact that my wife & daughter couldn't eat their meals. They need to have blue light emitters to curb the swarm. It wasn't even a hot day. God help anyone that gets table 27 on a really hot day because it won't be pleasent. Considering it wasn't busy, the service was terrible and along with everything else it doesn't entice us to eat here we won't be visiting again!😞😞😞

As I was shown to my seat, I was rather informally greeted by a strand of damp lettuce on my chair, extremely loud music playing and dogs running around. The wait for the food was relatively quick. However, no cutlery was brought to the table, and the diet coke was flat and tastless when it came. Then, while trying to eat my food, there was a large TV directly opposite me on the wall, showing a television show about unhealthy food, obesity and calorie tracking, I personally didn't have any problem with the TV being on but it just felt strangely off-putting and sly to have this being shown to people trying to enjoy food and have a good time without constantly worrying about caloric intake. Also, the toilets were a complete disgrace, completely stinking of piss and alcohol and the taps only outputting cold water. The food was decent, the chips being slightly on the cold and bland side, and the staff were kind and welcoming. More thought needs to be put into this place.

Staff are excellent, service was great. Booked in for breakfast for the 4 nights we stayed at the Travelodge. Great selection for breakfast, the kids enjoyed it. And they allowed dogs which was a bonus for us as we had 3 travelling with us. We managed to get squeezed in on one of the busy nights, deffo worth booking if planning a visit with a large group in the summer. The food was great each time we came. There are water bowls and a doggy beer barrel full of water to refill them as well. Great value and fast service. Definitely recommended.

If you park on the left had side at Marine Point car park, this is free, park on the right and your only have a limited time for free parking. 10 minute walk from the car park and you are at the Seahorse resteraunt. We went on a Sunday afternoon, not too busy and some good prices on the special menus. I had a 15oz Gammmon and my wife had the Sunday Dinner, both for £15.00. The food was well presented and very tasty. Staff were helpful and if you have a Blue Light Card, they accept it here.
