Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Wirral

Can’t agree more with recent comments. We went in at 1pm and was told we would need to wait 20 mins for food. The place was about 30% occupied so we agreed. After about 30 mins wait a family arrived at table next to us and got their food almost immediately. I asked waitress why and she said she was on her break and this was her family so she prepared it for them. After almost 40mins wait I went to cashier as long queue was there. They were telling people it was now 40 minute wait. Cashier went to check on our meal and said it was on the way, Got it after over 45 mins. There was no clean cutlery. Everything in the tray was dirty. Asked them for fresh cutlery and they brought a handful out of which about 50% was clean. I think they need to fix their dish washer. Food was actually very good and had just been cooked. Clearly they have big staffing problems. Wouldn’t go back even thought they do good food. Come on Morrisons. U can do much...

This place needs significant improvement.

The food was just "okay." Some breakfast items were served cold, while others were overcooked.

The most concerning issue was the staff. There seems to be a clear lack of training, as they appeared unsure of their tasks and displayed poor communication skills. It was evident that the staff were overwhelmed and disorganized.

The cutlery was dirty, and there were no napkins or condiments available. With no staff in sight to assist, I had to rejoin the queue and wait 10 minutes while they served a single customer.

I hope they address these issues soon, as most other Morrisons cafés...

Servers were nice enough but the food was disgusting we got two breakfasts and two kids meals (pasta and sausage with mash) all obviously microwaved but some how cold. Kids wouldnt touch the sausages, they were burnt yet cold and rubbery. Hash browns were hard and burnt again cold. Eggs had a funny taste. Mushrooms freezing cold black pudding hard on outside and uncooked in the middle. We did mention to staff and were offered to speak to manager but food was so slow coming we were running late for our booking at Bubbles. If we weren't hungry (it was 2pm) id of taken it all back!
