I came into this theater about 4 or 5 months ago for the first time I was appalled at how rough the other theaters look compared to this one the lobby is usually clean and spotless the bathrooms are usually immaculate very impressive me and my kids love coming in here as often as we can all the employees for the most part seem to be very nice and respectable and know their job we always end up checking out with a large gentleman named James he's always very nice he always makes sure we get everything we need and in a very timely fashion and he never has a bad look on his face some people probably have a bad day but I've never known or felt that he was having a bad day and he usually brightens up my day as well as my children there was also a girl working the ticket taking podium who had apparently been there for a very long time because customers kept coming up and saying how long it had been since they had seen her she also had a very great smile very great personality we felt very at home the entire time I love James and my kids love James even the little people that come to help him when he needs it are always very nice the management must be very well ran here I have never really encountered a problem myself but there's been a couple times where there were issues in the theater as I walked in but I did notice that they were apparently taking care of pretty quickly because it's very rare for me to walk in there with my children and see someone upset or any fights starting and that's always a great thing these days it's a wholesome place to go with your family and I feel completely safe there not to mention the seats are very very comfortable this company knows what they are doing love the employees love the theater and I love the cleanliness we always feel like we are going on a mini vacation anytime we go in there I just want to say thank you to this theater for giving my children and myself a safe place to go and it's well worth the money even if the movies are not that great sometimes (studios fault)the employees make up for it I've been coming back since my first time mainly to see the progress of the theater and sometimes check in with James to see how he's doing because he made my girls feel like we were part of the family whatever they are doing here it must be in the hands of people who are capable and know what they are doing I would recommend this theater to everybody in the area and if you're out of area and have to drive it's still worth the drive they must take care of their employees here because it's very rare to go somewhere these days and see an entire staff if not most of the staff in a pleasant mood and willing to help for any situation that arises I love love this movie and I would recommend light of the world to anybody out there who needs a great family film to see good job AmStar...

I chaperoned a movie trip with my daughter and a few of her friends. Two of my daughter's friends walked in when the movie started. I told the two girls to be sure their phones were off. One of the girls was turning her phone off when an usher at the movie theatre walked up and told her she had to leave. The young girl explained that she was just trying to turn her phone off. The usher said she had to leave. I asked why and the usher said, "my manager told me I had to eject anyone with their phone out from the movie". When I asked to speak to the manager, he said "I made that announcement". I said yes, but that announcement was 10 minutes before the movie started and those girls were not there at that time.. I had just asked the girls to turn their phones off. The manager paused and reluctantly said "Well, this is your final warning".
Then, during the middle of this intense movie buildup the manager has the movie paused and the lights pop on. The manager makes this announcement to the entire crowd stating that other patrons complained about noise during the movie and requested refunds. He then states, "if I hear anyone talking, you will be asked to leave". At this point I was livid. Please note that the movie theatre was packed. If it were loud, the manager would have heard about it from his staff. Members of his staff were present during the movie. They paced the aisles walking in and out, up and down, and back and forth during the majority of the movie.
I felt like, what I would assume jail feels like. We could not laugh or react to scary scenes in the movie for fear that we would be escorted out. I do not ever want to attend this movie theater again. I don't know if this is new management, but this took away from the...
Read moreHorrible theatre. Took my son there a few months ago to see Beetlejuice between his doctors appointments. After sitting in the theatre for over half an hour they come in and tell us the projector isn't working and offer us Rainy Day tickets. I tell them we don't come down here and are only in the area for his appointments and can we just slip into another movie? Manager says yes. I honestly can't remember what movie we went into next, but it started to play and then went out. Another projector problem. This time we just take the rainy day because there's simply not enough time left before his next appointment. I again tell the manager that we do not come to this area often so what exactly are the tickets good for? He tells me, word for word, "Any movie at any time." I'm like ok, I won't bother with the refund because we'll probably be down before they expire in March. February 21, 2025 my daughter and I make a special trip to use the tickets. Tell them we want to see the new Captain America movie. Manager REFUSES to honor the tickets. Says it's a blackout date. Gets a massive attitude about it when tell I him that's not what the manager who gave them to me said. So I got one back. Then he tells me to leave or he will call the cops. All because he won't honor the pledge his theatre made. The guy is completely unprofessional and not mature enough to be in the position. Luckily I have multiple professionally run theatres closer to me that I never have to deal with them again but those in the area should know if they can't get the projectors working they won't honor the rainy day tickets they give you.
PS: dude only got away with speaking to me in that manner because my daughter was with me. Otherwise I would have gladly rode that assault charge. Dude's too used to having a keyboard in...
