Called a little before closing on Christmas Eve to see if they still had a Wii game In stock, was told it was ok if we got there before closing and was a few minutes over he wasn’t worried. Got here looked for the Wii section (we’re not video gamers so haven’t been in in years) couldn’t find them. My boyfriend asked one of the guys about a controller he was extremely rude and said he wasn’t on the clocked then he did give a little info, I walked up un a wear he was just kinda rude to my boyfriend waited for the conversation to end and asked where the Wii games were at and he said he’s off the clock and that it was 2 minutes tell closing and he was kicking everyone out. So my flusteration is you can be off the clock, but when someone asks a simple question you can’t just point out where there at? Like you seen us looking around, and for someone to act that way to someone else is extremely disrespectful. Dude with the man bun and tattoos learn to be nicer especially on Christmas Eve. I get it’s the holidays but we were nice and didn’t deserve to be treated like that. Lost any business id ever give...
Read moreThe employees never call the card list people, don’t actually check the back for you, and buy all of the products on their breaks before anyone gets a chance. They buy all the Disney Lorcana and claim it is sold out or not getting delivered but we found out they bought them. They lied about the call list because the phone doesn’t even work. They claimed to be calling on their personal cell but it wasn’t true, no call was made. Lied about not being able to open the boxes when they are delivered. I have a friend that works at the Corvallis game stop and he even agrees. We have even had other people go in right when the boxes unload and they tell them they are sold out even though it was an hour and 45 minutes from when we walked out. When we walked out they told us they would unpack and it would take an hour to unbox. A 45 minute window where it supposedly sold out. This has been going on for 3...
Read moreNice shop, well organized, everything in the store (even the used gear) was clean. Christian was friendly and a much welcome game critic as I shopped around. He even called attention to how hard Mo worked to clean the place up - good on ya, Christian.
Mo is hilarious and seems to handle challenges with ease - she apologized out of nowhere to a patron for “bouncing all over the place” but I liked the energy and enthusiasm - this is the whole reason I’m writing this review.
Hands down had one of the best experiences at a shop in months if not more than a year. Mo and Christian didn’t necessarily know all the answers to all the questions people asked, but they were upbeat and chipper and kind.
I showed up to grab one item and ended up buying 3 titles, a controller and a warranty. Thank you for the fun...
