The place is clean and well lit. As "malls" go, it is very small and is made up.primarily of clothing stores. There are 2 "anchor" stores, Hobbie Lobby and Target which increases the functionality of "why" soneone would decide to go there, but as a family or after school destination, nothing there offers any real fun. The food court only offers 4 different choices, but that limitation may be due more to size constraints than anything else.
The individual stores - mostly national chains - all service the consumer just fine except one. There is a cell phone reseller located there by the namenof Spinware. Even as I write this I am upsure as to A) hiw they are still open, and B) how they have not been brought up on charges.
To keep the story short, having purchased a replacement for my Galaxy S5, the Spinware staff told me they would check the phone out over night. Upon returning the next day, the girl at the front desk stated that they had "hooked up the phone, made various calls, and everything checked out." They then sent me and the phone to Sprint to get it set up on my account. Within minutes after the fellow at Sprint checked and rechecked, he was burdened with having to inform me that I had just purchased a stolen phone. He further stated that with the phone marked as "stolen" in the system that there was no way that it could have been activated for testing and certainly no calls could have been placed on it. The bottom line was I had been issued a number of lies.
Sprint - not located in Heritage Mall - went above and beyond helping me out that day. Later, I found out that there have been MANY negative reviews about Spinware - both about their business practices and what could only remotely be considered as "customer service".
The rest of the mall is perfectly fine and safe. Keep your kids out of Spinware as they simply need to be...
Read moreI remember when going to a mall was exciting. There were plenty of stores and delicious food courts. There are hundreds of malls around the country that have closed their doors or on the verge of closing. The one thing I've noticed about the Heritage mall is that most of the vacant stores are rented later, and they do appear to utilize the space when they are. I generally see security walking around the mall, and I've seen some of them performing janitorial work.
The anchor stores are Target and Hobby Lobby. This is a smaller mall, but there are several stores to shop in. They have a Ross, Old Navy, Target, Claire's, Hobby Lobby, Maurices, arcade, Bath & Body Works, Famous Footware, Vision Works, and various other establishments. I don't have any younger children, so I cannot comment on the indoor playground or the hours of operation.
I recommend eating prior to visiting the mall. The food court is severely lacking of a good place to eat. I've had a disappointing experience at the indoor restaurants I've tried so far. However, there are a few choices located within the mall parking lot.
Overall, I am glad to see that this mall is still thriving. I hope the town continues to show their support and keep...
Read moreAt some point in time, the past has to be severed. I cannot even begin to find the words to describe the liminal eldritch horror I experienced when in this cursed mall. Looking past the 50 race cars which take up more surface area than open stores, the open stores themselves gave me a visceral reaction - almost primal - where my fight or flight almost kicked in. I pushed through and made my way to the food court, though, after passing 12 more race cars, and what I was left to find was BOBS PIZZA and THE SUGAR SHACK. I don’t know what kind of money laundering operation is going on, but I can certainly say those two establishments don’t exist. I know this is a review for the mall itself, but I should mention, the boba place people rave about gave me hives. I knew what was coming as I watched them put the special “coffee powder” mix in my drink followed by the tapioca mucus spheroids. It tasted like whale knuckles and cotton balls. As soon as it touched my lips I knew it was time to leave. My autonomous nervous system took over and got me out of that hellscape. It felt like I was trapped in time, stuck in this awful time prism. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO...
