Purchased with cash a very cute crossbody purse and it was still under Kate Spade’s warranty. During time of purchase, clerk was friendly and helpful. After 6 months, the leather on purse started fading. I didn’t keep the receipt after 6 months and especially when I loved the purse. I called the store about the warranty and the rep on phone put me on hold before even asking for my information as if she was already expecting not to help. I advised the rep of Kate Spade’s warranty on purses and the rep mentioned a receipt would be required. She did not try to help further and didn’t even ask for spelling of name or date of purchase but I asked her to check their system for proof of purchase. Read moreI am typically happy with Kate Spade! My latest experience has me a little upset however! I had ordered a necklace and earring set as a Christmas present and accidentally ordered twice (online). I called customer service and had a Representative “fix” the issue and credit the account. It never showed up, so I called again… Now this Rep tells me that there was never a credit put back and that the last Rep must have been new. She tried fixing the problem and told me I would have a credit to my card… that was 2 and a half months ago now! I will reach out periodically and am told over and over that I need to wait until the next billing cycle on my card… two and a half months later?!?! I would like this to be taken care of properly. Lesson learned… maybe stick to in store 🤷🏼♀️ Hoping this issue...
