Lyon Auto Spa — Attraction in Albuquerque

Scheduled service for an interior detailing of my SUV which was stated at the appointment time. I explained I had a Groupon for the service that would cover the interior detailing. No mention of additional charges, no mention of upscaling for an SUV no mention of needing to evaluate my vehicle first no mention of additional quotes. Expectation was to have the vehicle serviced for an interior detailing. Once I got there I was told the vehicle needed to be evaluated first upon reviewing the vehicle they told me the service would cost an additional $89. This was more than double what I paid for for the Groupon. I understand additional charges and I understand exceptions to the rules. I am a business owner and I utilize Groupon and LivingSocial myself to promote business, even at a loss. And I understand the value of a service as well as good customer service. You don't lure someone in under false pretenses and you certainly don't charge them more than twice what they were quoted. Poor customer service. Misleading advertising....

Great experience! I checked with many shops in the area that either didn’t call me back or quoted prices that were way too high or wanted me to wait all day for the service. This shop serviced me on the spot as a walk in, quoted me the best price I’ve seen so far, much lower than local competitors, they have a lobby with a couch, tv and even let me use their wifi. They also offered me a ride anywhere but place is comfy so I waited while they did the work. My car is being sold later today and I know I made a good choice using this shop. They are experienced in prepping cars for sale so they know exactly what to do to get me ready. The customer service is friendly and fair. I’m glad I kept searching to find these guys and did not go with the other shops who were unaccommodating and over priced. Will definitely be back...

Got their cheapest exterior hand wash for $10. In the process of drying it off my WRX badge came off leaving some adhesive (it wasn’t on great honestly).

The employee offered to clean the adhesive off real quick because it was their fault. I was not upset about the badge coming off as I was eventually planning on taking it off.

The employee proceeded to clean it with some adhesive remover when his boss came up and said there was no time for that and I would have to pay for it. I left with my car washed but I an adhesive stain. I was sad that the employee had better customer service than the boss.

3 stars because they are affordable and have nice employees. It’s not an end all and I plan on trying these guys again but I wanted to share...
