DaHy on King — Attraction in Alexandria

When I called to make the appointment they told me that they just opened, but I looked at the reviews and I thought let's give them a chance. I booked and appointment for a couple's massage for my husband and I. Our wedding anniversary was on the 10th so this was our anniversary treat. I am so glad I gave them a chance, my husband and I had the best massage of our lives. The staff is extremely attentive and they make you feel at home from when you walk through the door. We were having a lot of neck and shoulder pain from spending long hours in the computer studying and working and we feel so much better. Also they did a wonderful job with the design of the place and the cleanliness. Everything looks spotless and beautiful. The price was also really good. We tried other places and they were not as wonderful as Dahy and they charge double with average facilities and not with such skillfull masseuses. If you want a wonderful massage, come to this awesome place. You will meet wonderful people and you will feel like new. My husband and I found our massage spot and we will be regulars from now on. I had an absolutely horrible experience at DaHy, and I feel it’s important to share so others don’t waste their time or money here. From the moment I arrived, I got a bad vibe but decided to shake it off and give the place a chance since it was my birthday. That was a huge mistake.

The massage I received from a lady named Eva was one of the roughest and most uncomfortable I’ve ever had. She was not gentle at all, and instead of feeling relaxed, I felt tense and frustrated the entire time. To make matters worse, when I got up from the massage table, I noticed that ALL of my lashes had fallen off onto the towel, lashes that I had just gotten done! That should never happen during a professional service.

On top of the terrible experience, they had the nerve to overcharge me by an extra $15. This place feels like nothing more than a scam. On top of everything, there was also a strong sense of racism in the way I was treated, which only added to the discomfort and negativity of the experience.

This was my first and absolutely last time at DaHy. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you value your money, time, or basic respect, do yourself a favor and...

I had a truly wonderful massage with Eva at DaHy on King, and the entire experience was just what I needed.

From the moment I arrived, everything felt easy and seamless—clear signage, a welcoming space, and a simple check-in process (even with booking through ClassPass the day before). The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, instantly putting me at ease.

I opted for the 60-minute essential oil and hot stone massage, and it was exactly what my body needed. I came in carrying so much tension in my back, and Eva was incredibly attentive, checking in on the pressure and making sure I was comfortable the entire time.

By the end, I felt lighter, more open, and even noticed my sinuses had cleared. I walked out feeling better than when I arrived—grounded, restored, and deeply relaxed.

If you're looking for a great massage, I highly recommend DaHy on King—and definitely ask for Eva!
