If you’re like me then you may also do a lot of research to find a trustworthy place to do a service you’re not used to. Jewelry is out of my league a bit. The Google search was on.

I had always known Guven was a Greater Atlanta Christian School family name, so they were at the top of our list. Nice to support people who support great things.

My engagement band was dented and the prong kept breaking (I knock into things a lot and have a toddler, so yeah). So I haven’t worn my engagement ring in about 2 years. Oops.

The staff at Guven was SO kind and helpful and patient with me to decide and ask questions and they really knew their stuff but not in a patronizing way.

That was great, cause I had lots of q’s and wasn’t about to pretend I knew what I was talking about.

10/10 would recommend Guven ... but for real. They exceeded my expectations. I recommend them for anyone looking for jewelry repair or purchase.

We used my original 3 stones (passed down from Blake’s grandma - can you imagine the value of these beauties back then!?) and added a side of bling (partially for a “push present.. partially for 30th bday ... like this justification??). Ended up going with a new band instead of a replaced prong.

Guven used the white gold from the original ring and majorly customized the band so that the prongs fit my stones and so they it all sat lower on my finger than the example they had on the floor. Exactly what I wanted. Pointy prongs and I don’t get along.

The Guven staff even went the extra mile to kindly inform me why my engagement band had so many dents and issues. This was great cause I wanted to know if just replacing a prong was the right call.

Apparently my wedding band ($200 hammered ring on Etsy) was a bit too thick, so it gradually grinded against the prongs and caused a dent in the ring with the stones. Who knew!

Anyways, for someone who who doesn’t wear a lot of nice jewelry and is learning to do a bit more for herself (🙋🏻‍♀️), this was a special upgrade and treat.

I’m grateful for a team that listened to my ignorant questions with grace and understanding and that somehow customized a ring in ONE WEEK to be exactly what I asked for. I’m blown away. They even worked with me on the price with us step by step so it fit our family budget.

I have had another amazing experience with Guven Brothers! After being so happy with the re-make of my grandmother's ring, I asked Kelly to do another custom project for me. While I was waiting for the new ring to be made I thought I had asked for the impossible and wasn't sure how it would turn out. When the new ring was finished and I went in to pick it up, I was blown away again. It is absolutely beautiful, exactly what I had envisioned in every detail. I highly recommend the Guven Brothers. They've done two outstanding custom projects for me and their jewelry is beautiful. Give them a try, you'll know the minute you walk in what a top notch establishment it is and their customer service is first class, the best. Couldn't be happier!

I am so happy about my experience with Guven Brothers. I came into the store and talked to Kelly about a ring I had inherited from my grandmother. We looked at rings and I showed her what I liked. Later I brought my grandmother's engagement ring and asked about changing the prong setting to something lower, and she suggested a bezel. Kelly remembered everything I had said about what I liked and she told me that she could make the changes and that I would love it. Two days later I got a call and the ring was ready. When I saw it I just couldn't believe how perfect it was, even much better than I could have hoped for. I was so pleased with their work that today I brought my grandmother's diamond wedding band in, and they are making a custom ring for me using the diamonds. Kelly really listened to me that first time I went in and she knew exactly what I would like. I am so excited to see this ring when it is ready. My daughter and her boyfriend bought a beautiful engagement ring from the Guvens a few weeks ago, and they've also done some small repairs on other jewelry for me. Every part of my experience with the Guvens has been amazing, The atmosphere in their store is so friendly and welcoming, and I've heard other customers saying the same thing. Not only do they do excellent, beautiful work, their prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I most highly recommend this family...

(Keep reading through the bottom please!! ) I recently had my wedding band repaired at what I thought was a reputable jeweler. The prongs were snagging everything so it needed to be fixed. To my surprise, I get my ring back and it seemed fine until I realized that my prongs almost didn't exist anymore, they had been ground down so much they weren't properly holding my diamond in! I wasn't about to give my ring back to someone who 'fixed' my ring.

So I had heard from several people about this jeweler Guven Brothers. I decided to give it a shot. Can I just say, it was beyond my expectations. Joy and Tony go above and beyond to understand what you need and want and then make it happen. They were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable through the whole process. And when I got my ring back, it was actually fixed! I obviously did not purchase anything new, but I will say the selection they have is phenomenal and if you don't find what your looking for they can make it happen!
