I ordered 2 of the sofa and a chair on 11/18/2020 from Macy's store during Black Friday week. The particular sofa set was not in-stock and they told us if we purchase it will be received on 01/26/2021 at their Warehouse. And after that, we would have to wait 10 business days to receive it at home. We were alright, so we decided to purchase it. As the date passed and we did not receive our order. We tried to contact customer care. After, that they told us it's in the warehouse, we might have to wait till they reach us out. After waiting for another 4-5 days we contacted them again. And they gave us another estimated date for warehouse Arrival on 04/18/2021, stating they haven't received it in the warehouse yet. So, we decided to visit the store offer us a different product that's available. As we reached the store. One of the store employees mentioned they couldn't do anything about the particular order Due to Covid-19, which was a good reason as per them. So I asked for the store manager so I could talk to them and get this short out. The store manager walked in and asked how can she help us, we explained our situation. The first thing she said was like I can cancel your order after waiting this long all she has to offer was to cancel my order. So my wife requested if they can offer us anything else that available in-store at the moment. And an employee named Leif Jones talked into our matter, so the manager asked him to walk us through floor sales and if we can find anything as per our choices that's available. He showed the same sofa set that we purchased and mentioned that it's a cheap sofa that you have purchased. So there is no such product in the entire store that can match your choice or the product that you have purchased. As his statement was pretty offended and judgmental towards the customer. I did mention the Macy's service sucks! And I will like to cancel the order. Employee named was Leif Jones talked back in a rude tone and asked me to mention that his service sucks and also Macy's service sucks in the reviews. Which was too rude. They can't deliver the items on time either, neither they have the ability to say honest things about their products they are selling nor they could help the customer in a proper manner. All they know is to blame everything on Covid-19 and can't deliver. The Employee did not feel bad for losing a customer nor did their manager. I would never recommend any friends and family to purchase anything at Macy's. Somebody needs to at least hire good sales associates. I have had the worst experience...

First the store: We were greeted by a woman as we walked in, and found a couch we liked after about 30 mins. Could not find the original greeter so we went to one of the other “circling sharks” and asked for a price in a different layout of the couch. Right about this time the original lady appears and makes a snarky comment about how we should only be speaking with her since “she greeted us”. That’s great and all but that’s a conversation that should be had with your coworker behind closed doors. Not making comments to potential customers that make them feel uncomfortable. After that I decided I’d order online and no one gets the commission. Order placed 9/1 with the status of all my items showing “In Stock”. It is now 10/9 and my items have finally arrived at the warehouse well guess what despite me waiting for over a month for this couch they cannot get it to me for more than a week. I’ve had my first ever home sitting empty for a month plus and they will not help expedite the delivery AT ALL. When I emailed customer service explaining my situation and asking about a wait or cancellation list to get my couch earlier they sent me a canned “sorry for the inconvenience” but your delivery is schedule for 10/16. Yeah Jose Mendoza that’s not going to help, they also sent me a survey. Well once I clicked on the survey link it seems it had “ Reponses already submitted” so not only was the customer service rep completely useless he then took his own survey and I’m sure gave himself high marks. Read moreI am not normally one to write negative reviews so just know that this is me taking my time to warn you about a SUBPAR company/store that DOES NOT care if you are happy with your furniture or them in general. I ordered a couch (spent over $3,000) and the parts to connect the 2 pieces of the sectional were misaligned upon delivery so they did not align properly. Had to schedule a "repairman" ... who arrived and said he couldn't find my apartment complex so he left without calling to try to figure it out (I stayed home from work all that day in order to be available)... I got over that annoyance and rescheduled the repairman. THEN, I ordered a replacement middle cushion because it was 1000000x softer than the 2 outer cushions which makes sitting on it completely uncomfortable. I triple made sure that they were ordering the correct cushion by having the salesperson TEXT ME a picture of the sectional with the cushion he was ordering circled on it to be sure. Of course, they send me the wrong cushion. They wanted me to HOLD ONTO the wrong cushion for months waiting for the correct one to arrive to which I, of course, said no. They come to pick it up. A week goes by, I call to check when the correct cushion will come (that I paid $278 for by the way) and they inform me that there is no current order in place for the correct cushion as I need to wait for the refund from the incorrect cushion before then calling them again to restart the ENTIRE process.
