this was my first time in here after wanting to come for a while and looking at reviews. and i must say… i will definitely be back. the atmosphere is great. they have a mix of old and new games (literally they have games from the nes and atari all the way up to switch and ps4 and all that) i came in to look just to see what they had and if there was anything i was looking for. and sure enough there was i found a 3ds game i have been looking for but decided to hold off on getting that. i bought fable on the og xbox as because i have fable anniversary on my 360 but that game didn’t work so when i found this i decided to pick it up and see if that would work instead and i’m excited to play this. and another plus is the prices here are great! as seen on my pictures i only payed $12.88. so i would recommend coming here there is stuff or something for everyone. and as i said in the beginning i will be back. keep up the good work here!

Retro Game Vault in American Fork is a small but interesting spot for anyone into classic gaming. They have a decent variety of retro games, from NES and Gameboy Color to PS1, PS2, PS3, and even Xbox. The prices on some of the classics aren’t bad either, which is a nice surprise. However, one thing that stood out was the overwhelming amount of sports games. Most of the racks are filled with older sports titles, which can be a bit disappointing if you’re looking for something more unique. I get that those are the easiest retro games to come by, but it would’ve been nice to see a bit more variety in other genres. On the plus side, the staff is great—super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They also offer console repair services, which adds to the value of the place. Overall, it’s a solid spot to check out if you’re in the area and on the hunt for some retro gaming nostalgia.

I am so grateful to have found Retro game van!! Last night when my ps2 died we were crushed. Looking online at yardsale sites I wasn’t impressed with pricing. I messaged him last minute and he was SO kind, was able to come same day luckily with the schedule and the system is CLEAN. Was also able to knock a few bucks off and took the old system for revival. 🤞 looking through the game list because we’re a huge gaming family and have tons of different consoles I was bummed to not have found him sooner because his prices are 🔥 I paid $60 for a game he has for twenty! HIGHLY Recommended and I am excited for future business!!

I can't go on enough about how great this store is! Hands down, best retro gaming store in UT county.

I traded in two defective rock band guitars and some misc accessories and I was cut an incredible deal. I walked out with a rock band drum set, a rock band microphone, and three games all for just $60. If you know anything about how greedy Rock Band+Guitar Hero resellers can be on, you'll know that this is not only tremendously fair, but an amazing deal!

Video games are the single most poorly preserved medium of any media out there, and people like me who are trying to catch up on old childhood libraries of consoles (now that we have disposable income) are met with jacked up prices, unfair bids on Ebay, or hunts at flea markets/2nd hand stores. I don't want to go out of my way to pirate old video games just to play them, and Retro Gaming Vault has filled this need and FINALLY is a place which offers a fantastic selection with very fair prices. Comparable retro gaming shops with gouge you for every penny, and it almost feels like you are being punished for liking something older. They've gained a customer for life and I've gone back twice since I found...

Retro Game Vault needs to become your go-to gaming spot in all of Utah, if it isn't already. Bronson & his crew are some of the best guys you will ever come across, extremely knowledgable, friendly, helpful, & willing to "make you a deal".

The entire crew genuinely cares about the quality of all items they sell, as everything goes through a deep & thorough testing process, which is something that doesn't (actually) happen at all gaming/tech stores. Guess what's the icing on the cake besides just knowing you're buying quality? Their prices are better than every other game store in Utah. You couldn't ask for a better combination.

I will never be able to say enough good things about Bronson, his customer service skills are off the charts. I would put him up against any other individual that works daily with customers & Bronson would knock them out of the water.

There is a reason why this game store has so many perfect, 5-star reviews. RETRO GAME VAULT IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST GAME...

Little shop tucked away just before getting into American fork, this store is locally owned and operated. Many of their prices are much more viable than a lot of their competition, they hold onto games more reliably, the staff are friendly, and they can get ahold of a ton of interesting games in a short time span. They keep track of inventory very well too, allowing you to call ahead. They also tend to have at least one thing interesting for most retro to modern systems and you can also call to check in and see if they got something you want

There are some small complaints. The store is a bit small so it is quality over quantity and if they say they don't have something it is most likely true, plus it's able to get cramped in general when there are a lot of people. The second is the location, some people I've talked to say that the store is a bit tucked in to the side of the road and out of the way. Still even with the cons, I'd say it's a really good place for...
