A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in American Fork

I love going to the a&w/kfc because I don’t like the kfc potato wedges or the mashed potatoes. I have always been able to switch it for the a&w fries at every location I have been to. Today at the A&w/kfc in American Fork, Utah they said I could not get the a/w fries instead of the potato wedges. They would not budge on this ridiculous decision. Even though they have allowed me to at this very location before. When I spoke with the manager she was very unprofessional and rude, very short with me. No explanation offered as to why they can’t do the switch even though they are the SAME restaurant. This is ridiculousness. I left and went to Chick Fil A instead and they were super friendly and left me smiling. Way better experience. I will not be going to that particular A&w/kfc restaurant in american Fork, Utah again. I asked for an A2 Combo meal, but then decided to change it to an A7, and the woman on the other end sounded incredibly frustrated by this. I could hear her grumbling. Then she didn't read back my order or give me the total, and when I asked her to read it back to me, she said it was an A2 combo meal. When I told her that I had changed it, she started ranting in Spanish. I can only assume that she was cursing at me or complaining to a coworker. Why? Simply because I decided to change my order? And she was apparently too frustrated already to pay attention to the change? I guess I wasn't clear enough with her, because she gave me the burger only, not the combo meal I was asking for. I should've just left and took my business elsewhere, because I didn't trust eating the food after this unnecessarily hostile customer...

Fantastic Experience at A&W in American Fork!

I had a great visit to the A&W in American Fork! The restaurant was impressively clean and well-kept — everything from the dining area to the restrooms looked spotless. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, which made the whole experience more enjoyable.

What really made the visit stand out, though, was the General Manager, Joseph. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in running a top-notch restaurant. His attention to detail and friendly attitude created a positive, inviting atmosphere that you don’t always find in fast food spots.
