Mon Amour Banquet — Attraction in Anaheim

Beautiful beautiful place. The food was amazing and the ambiance was great. However, some things aren't perfect.

Pros Beautiful place. A lot of things are already set up for you plus any additional items they provide if you want to purchase. Everyone loved the food. There was more than enough for everyone and they loved the fact that you were able to take it home. Pricing is reasonable. For the amount you are getting with food, it was worth it. You can do anything you need to do. They do not bother you when you are setting up unless you need something or they are trying to get something done for you.

Cons Champagne was supposed to be complimentary at every table with the food. However, there was NO Champagne at all! There was only one Champagne bottle at the cake table, which was never opened and they took it back. This was a huge disappointment. Bartenders do not follow the rules. There was supposed to be NO shots at the wedding, but the bartender gave shots out all night. Please retrain your bartenders to do what they are told by the bride and groom. I do not care if guests are tipping you for shots. If the bride and groom said no, it is a no. And if they wanted to, I would have appreciated them to at least ask the bride and groom. It is the bride and grooms alcohol, not the bartenders. The wedding ends at 11 pm but they started cleaning and stacking the chairs and tables at 9:30 pm. People complained that their gifts and envelopes were thrown away and there were no more chairs while people were still on the dance floor. We had to ask them to bring some chairs out for people to sit down. It should be known that the bride and groom will not eat all their food because they have a lot to do. Instead of clearing the table, the to-go boxes should be provided so someone can go pack the food for them and not clear out. The bride and groom only got to eat 3 of the 8 dishes! If you booked your wedding on a Saturday, AND you are also going to have your ceremony here, be prepared not to have a rehearsal the day before the wedding. You have to find another Saturday to do it. This was extremely difficult as the wedding party was from out of town and wouldn't be there until the week of the wedding. I had to take whoever I could to the venue to do the rehearsal on a random Saturday and then practice at a park the week of the wedding when the whole wedding...

Speaking not as a customer but as a guest who attended to a banquet here. The food was terrible for what was paid. Putting that aside, the place was beautiful and they did a great job with decorating. However, they were SO STINGY with food portions. For $600 a table, this is unacceptable! All the other guests and I at my table left the place feeling hungry. Each plate they brought out had just enough food for one TINY portion for each person. We were literally rationing the portions amongst us. The food menu was also bizarre, they tried to serve a salad with apples, mayonnaise, and cold lobster. It tasted as strange as it looked. The fish they served at the end was so dry and unfresh, I couldn't eat it despite being hungry. The dessert was just as tiny and unappealing. Left feeling ripped off that the guests and I paid $100 for this event. I paid $300 myself. I don't recommend this...

Beautiful banquet hall where I've had the pleasure of knowing two beautiful brides celebrating their love. My most recent visit was definitely one to remember.

Loved the ambiance the banquet hall provided. The hanging flowers off the ceiling, the lights and vibes, and great dance floor was spectacular. The venue staff were great and made sure to pace everything for our ten-course meal, and I was happy to see some dedicated vegan options provided for me too. I ended up having quite a bit of food and was very pleased to not go hungry at my friend's wedding.

Only thing I wish would've been better were the acoustics. My friend's wedding was nearly 300 guests so it was very hard to hear what was happening if you weren't sitting right near the center stage.
